They ask Levan Zubkov (Ivan Mathias Petersson) a former CIA asset, for help in getting entry to the crime party, but at first, he declines. But Chavez convinces him with a knife. They find out that the Croatians and the Triad are negotiating a deal there. Zubkov recommends a strategy for sneaking into the event using caverns and underground passages.
James Greer and Patrick are investigating an assassin named Walters in Washington, DC, and they tie him to a shell firm connected to the unconscious Dominic Sanderson. James gets stabbed when Walters pursues him aggressively and confronts him on a bridge, which causes a vehicle accident and a fight. He succeeds in getting away by leaping off the bridge.
Chao is dispatched to Geneva from Myanmar, while Tin Tun takes over his duties in Croatia. Despite Chao’s claim that Soe Wai is a spy, the Triad goes forward with the exchange. It is revealed that Chao is traveling to Geneva to collaborate with the Triad-affiliated fundraiser Zeyara. Chao is informed by Zeyara that he will be promoted and given responsibility for activities in Myanmar as part of her efforts to develop and enhance the Triad’s networks.
Back at Olafsky’s market, Zubkov assists Mike in entering the gathering without incident, while Chavez and Jack enter from below, dispatching security personnel along their path. The gathering involves the exchange of women, weapons, and drugs. Mike recognizes Tin Tun and believes him to be Chao Fah. Mike interrupts a covert business transaction that Zubkov and Mike follow him to, leading to a fight and their eventual incarceration.
To get to Mike, though, Jack and Chavez show up and start shooting. They examine the object being traded, but they are unaware of what it is for. James and Patrick examine the assault there, and they come to the conclusion that Walters is probably an ex-military. Elizabeth learns about the issue while she is with James. James recommends support for Jack’s inquiry into the Triad because he thinks everything is connected. Elizabeth is apprehensive, nevertheless, because of her impending confirmation. Jack and his team are seen safely on a yacht at the episode’s conclusion, inspecting the item they have found. Mike wonders if it might be a bomb. As they continue to pursue him, Chavez receives coordinates from Chao that indicate their next avenue of investigation.
