As the Hunting Award ceremony is underway, Klamath Moore (Aaron Dean Eisenberg) makes a dramatic entrance, drenched in blood, and interrupts the proceedings. Meet our protagonist, a passionate hunting activist who causes chaos and sets free his actions to his vast social media following. In this scene, the Governor delivers a crucial briefing to the team, outlining the urgent need to solve the case of Frank Urman’s murder before Klamath Moore and his team arrive in town.

In a dramatic turn of events, Deputy for the Twelve Sleep County Sheriff’s DepartmentMcLanahan (Chad Rook) finds himself at odds with the Governor, resulting in his swift removal from office. In a dramatic turn of events, Sheriff Barnum valiantly defends him, only to be met with the Governor’s harsh decision to also give him the boot. Joe takes it upon himself to uncover the truth about Frank’s mysterious disappearance. He starts by interviewing Frank’s wife Blaire Urman (Julianne Christie), and Chris Urman (Josh Collins), his nephew who was with him on the hunting trip.

meanwhile, Chris’s testimony doesn’t provide any groundbreaking leads for the investigation. All we know is that he and his hunting partner split up and now he’s filled with regret. Klamath receives a crucial tip regarding the murder of Frank, prompting him to rally his team and begin strategizing their dramatic entrance into Saddlestring.

In this week’s episode, we follow the desperate search for Charlie’s missing daughter, Marissa (Tanchay Redvers). It’s been four long weeks since she disappeared, and Charlie Left Hand (Sean Wei Mah) is determined to find her no matter what it takes. Marybeth is intrigued by the events that unfolded. Our protagonist discovers that the sheriff is unable to assist due to jurisdictional limitations, while the tribe is unable to intervene as the incident did not occur on their land.  The protagonist arrives at the sheriff’s office, determined to uncover what actions are being taken in regard to the missing case.  Deputy McLanahan proves to be of no assistance to our protagonist.

As Maryeth delves into Marissa’s deserted vehicle, her suspicions of foul play intensify. In the next scene, our protagonist makes her way to Charlie’s house with a determined look on her face. She’s there to offer her assistance in the search for his missing daughter. In a desperate attempt to crack the case, she brings Charlie to Cricket’s for assistance. However, much to Charlie’s dismay, the help they seek is not readily available.

Nate makes a crucial phone call to report illegal hunting activity and urges the individuals on the other end to contact the game warden immediately. As Joe enters the scene, Nate urgently informs him that a group of individuals are in hot pursuit. Nate Romanowski (Mustafa Speaks) suggests using Joe as bait to lure him out.

In this week’s episode, Joe and Luke Brueggeman (Keean Johnson) find themselves sifting through old case files. As they dig deeper, they uncover two shocking incidents where individuals accidentally shot and killed themselves. As he examines the photos, he realizes that the identical poker chip discovered beside Frank’s corpse was also present beside these other victims. In a dramatic revelation, Joe declares that this was not an isolated incident, but rather the calculated actions of a serial killer.

In this episode, Klamath makes his grand entrance into Saddlestring and delivers a powerful speech about the town’s secrets. He exposes the truth about the death of a hunter that has been hidden from the community. As Joe yanks the plug from Klamath’s screens displaying Frank’s lifeless form, the enraged followers of his cult pounce on Joe, unleashing their fury upon him. As the episode draws to a close, Sheridan emerges from the building and is confronted with the sight of Joe lying injured on the pavement.
