Kung Fu Season 2 Episode 5: Synopsis
Synopsis: THE RACE TO FIND MIA – After receiving a new clue that could lead to Mia’s (guest star Vanessa Yao) whereabouts, Nicky (Olivia Liang) and Henry (Eddie Liu) race to find her before Russell Tan’s forces do. Meanwhile, Mei-Li (Kheng Hua Tan) is tested when a new restaurant opens nearby, and Althea (Shannon Dang) continues to struggle with the challenges of work.

Kung Fu Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
Dennis Soong, ever the supporting husband, took Althea’s pride and joy, Clementine, on a ride. This is a bad concept. Dennis barges in, panicking about Clementine, while Nicky and Henry are investigating. In attempting to reclaim her, the cops were of no assistance. They pay Evan a trip to try and obtain some aid from Nicky, and they beg him to help them find her. Evan informs them about a series of carjackings that have occurred throughout the city. Ryan, Dennis, and Nicky conduct a stakeout and apprehend a woman who is attempting to steal Ryan’s automobile. Ryan divides out to look into a hint concerning Mia’s birth hospital, which they learned through Mei-Li telling Po Po about Mia. Po Po discovered this after tracking a weird one-time phone call from Mei-Xue to a hospital 20 years ago. Althea storms into the community center enraged that Dennis has been following her around all day. Nicky goes out to email images of the automobiles to Evan so that the cops can smash the party, but there is no cell service. Althea is aware that signal jammers exist. Dennis’ secret is exposed by a friend, and Leif and Tamra arrive to take them outback.
Out back, Leif instructs the remaining private security to assassinate Althea and Dennis, then track down and assassinate Nicky. When they refuse, he takes a gun from one of the men. Dennis expresses regret to his wife. Althea claims that she was enraged not by Clem, but by Dennis’s inability to tell her the truth about what was going on. Before duty calls, Henry and Nicky are having a passionate moment. On the laptop, they stole from Tan’s mansion. Later, Nicky and Henry discover Tan was compiling a database of guardians on the laptop and theorize that by looking through it, they can uncover Mia’s father. Dennis bursts in, distraught by Clementine’s disappearance.. Henry decides to pay a visit to his father, who is pleased but startled to see him. A woman interrupts and leaves while they’re conversing. His father inquires about him, but Henry shuts it off and requests his belongings. He also wants to know where his Tai Po’s ring is. His father inquires as to its purpose. He hands Henry the ring and tells Henry the story of how he and Henry’s mother met. Henry is enraged by this because his father abandoned his mother and left Henry to raise himself with his Ah Po. Henry departs without the ring, stating that he will choose one on his own when the time comes. Henry spots Nicky in the library at the community centre. They both express regret for their roles in the fight. They enter the information into Tan’s laptop database in the hopes of finding Mia’s father, who probably has the same antigen. They are given the name John Liu. The three devise a strategy to track him down and locate Mia.
Over tea, Henry’s father and the unknown woman discuss Henry’s refusal to break up with Nicky. Our boy’s situation is not improving. Dirty DA at work Hughes summons Evan to a meeting with Juliette Tan herself. Juliette maintains that her family is being pursued. Hughes is hoping to obtain traffic camera footage in order to apprehend the criminals – Nicky, Henry, and Ryan, in case you forgot. The case has been assigned to Evan. Evan texts Nicky not to return to his workplace after his appointment with Juliette. He meets her and Dennis at the community centre and promises to do all in his power to keep them safe from the investigation. He also connects the Clementine’s drop place to a property owned by Leif Winzig, an ex-con who attempted but failed to go straight in Silicon Valley. . Evan analyses traffic camera footage from the streets back at the office. Nicky sends Evan a text message inquiring about “the inquiry.” Evan says that he took care of the situation. Back at the office, Evan informs DA Hughes that the film is clear, but she closes the door and shouts at him for tampering with evidence She wants to know who Evan is guarding. Evan inquires about her involvement with the Tans. Juliette says she got another one of their roadblocks, Evan, out of the way during a phone discussion with Russell. She also has a lead on Mia, who is on her way to meet her father.
