On Sunday, a guy was detained outside Kylie Jenner’s Los Angeles house for allegedly violating his restraining order. According to TMZ, Jrue Mesgan approached Kylie’s home in Beverly Hills’ affluent Holmby Hills neighborhood on Sunday afternoon and ‘buzzed the gate,’ prompting a security guard to call the cops. Mesgan was being watched by a security guard, who alerted the cops. He was arrested and is being jailed on a $20,000 bond for a misdemeanour breach of a court order.
Mesgan has a shady history with Kylie, to say the least. Mesgan had been to Kylie’s house several times in the last few months, so she obtained a stay-away order, which he broke on Sunday, resulting in his detention.
Kylie has had her fair share of issues with adoring fans… earlier this month, a 23-year-old man armed with roses arrived at Kylie’s house to confess his love for her and beg for her hand in marriage. The fan arrived at Kylie’s house, jumped over the fence, and banged on her door. He was at one of Kylie’s neighbors, and it turned out he was at the incorrect place. He was charged with trespassing, a misdemeanour.
The difficulty with restraining orders is that they are effective against people who are in a state of mind where they understand they will be arrested if they violate them, but they are generally viewed as useless pieces of paper by persons who are mentally ill.
