Fortunately, Fans don’t have to worry about being left hanging halfway through the season because we know there is still enough more tale to tell. Will Lucas Die in La Brea Season 2 Episode 7?
Gavin Harris and Dr. Sam are able to travel to 1988 and reunite with their family. but Lucas Hayes (Josh McKenzie) and Scott Israni are left behind in 10,000 BC. Lucas’s position worsens at the end of Episode 6, and he may not live. it doesn’t appear that Lucas will die soon. According to the synopsis of “1988”, Ty decides to take on a challenge in the hopes of winning a cure for his best buddy, Lucas, who is very ill. The show has a tendency to build up to its most shocking moments, and that may be the case here as well. Killing him after he became a good guy would be awful. He, Scott, and Rebecca are the only significant characters still in the clearing, making them crucial to the story in 10,000 BC. we think so Lucas will remain involved in “La Brea’s” future events.

La Brea Season 2 Episode 6 Recap
Gavin bluffed his way past the curious guard as he pulled the cart of black rock up to the security gate outside of the Lazarus tower, even as Eve’s worried eyes and immaculate blonde hair peaked out from under her mask. But when the lady working at the tower’s mission control, Kira (Broadchurch’s Simone McAullay), noticed that Silas was nearby, an alarm was sent and the guards were instructed to capture the newcomers. Gavin, Sam, Eve, and Izzy needed help fighting off the guards, so Silas, Scott, and Lucas emerged from concealment to assist. However, Gavin was ultimately dragged into the archaic edifice. Scott led Lucas, who had burns from the “cattle prod” we saw in season one, back to the clearing while Silas escorted the others to a tower door that was “guarded” by a huge bird. While the others sprinted for the grate, Eve took the initiative to divert the bird, and she narrowly escaped the door before the animal closed in on her.
James, a.k.a. his father (played by Wrecked’s Jonno Roberts), was the man in control when Gavin first entered the tower. James reveals that they journeyed to 10,000 B.C. and that he, Caroline, and their son are all from the year 2076. to ensure that the dystopian future acquires the natural resources it has been deprived of by not having. Gavin insists that bringing Josh back from 1988 will be the one thing that will bring his family back together. Although the portal inside the tower, which is fueled by uranium traces in the black rock, only travels to 2076, James contends that Aldridge misled him. James and Silas (his own father) have a conversation when Kira and the guards discover Eve and company in the covert access tunnel. Sam gets the memory Riley inserted in the past and tells James that, according to Dr. Caroline Clark, the portal can transport them to 1988 while James reiterates that it only travels to 2076. When James is caught, he gives up his selfish desire to have his reunion with his son interrupted and lets Gavin, Eve, and the others portal to 1988.
Meanwhile, on the topside, The electricity went out as Caroline tried to run the code that would prevent California from being hit by the tidal wave. To install fresh fuses, she dispatched Josh and Riley to the neighboring, deserted ice rink from which she has been stealing power. After finishing the mission, Josh and Riley are instructed to wait until the code has finished executing in case the power goes out once more. However, Caroline informed over the walkie-talkie that the evil people who have been trying to thwart her job have arrived at her hideout as they hooked up and hit the ice to Hungry Eyes, even coming dangerously close to kissing. The youngsters discovered Caroline missing after racing to her hiding place. But they were able to find the gadget she left for them inside a Wheaties box thanks to a clue she gave them over the walkie-talkie. Riley gets the notion to track down 1988 Sam and ask him to commit information about the gateway to memory so that he can “know” it in the future, in 10,000 B.C. Riley claims that her father would know what it is. Riley and Josh observe Gavin, Eve, Izzy, and Levi sprinting toward them across the beach while they are awaiting at the Santa Monica Pier. Riley informs them that another, much larger sinkhole is about to appear, but one that they might be able to prevent, as the Earth begins to tremble and interrupts their hugs.
