In the first episode of La Brea Season 3, fans saw the Harris family and other survivors dealing with the effects of the crazy time-traveling adventures that have made the show famous. Eve, Gavin, Izzy, and Josh Harris, who are all part of the Harris family, were split up again after a short meeting. In the exciting ending to Season 2, Gavin gave up his life to save Eve from a dinosaur lizard. The happy meeting didn’t last long, though, because James Mallet, the mysterious person behind the Lazarus Project, revealed his cruel plans. In his rush to save the world, Mallet saw the Harris family as a threat and tried to erase Gavin from existence. Gavin shot Mallet just as he was about to go through the time hole because he was dying.
In the last episode, Mallet sent a mysterious message about a sister, which made Gavin and his kids very confused. Because the gate system wasn’t working right, Eve got stuck in the room while trying to get some important notes. It looked like she was taken back in time. Where was Eve when Season 3 started? That became the main question.
