Detective Stabler remembers Frank Donnelly. He cared about Donnelly. Friend and cop, he was. Corrupt policeman. So Stabler sought to arrest him. Stabler lost closure when Donnelly committed suicide before being arrested. Stabler testified against the Brotherhood. Dirty cops formed the Brotherhood. Stabler’s testimony will imprison many. However, testifying marked Stabler. Many cops considered Stabler a traitor for his actions. They thought he should have always supported his fellow cops. Their filth didn’t bother them. Or that they broke their own laws. Police defended them. Journalists also believed Stabler lacked moral authority to evaluate other cops. Stabler was the only one who dared say that to him. Regardless, he follows the law. SVU called Stabler too. Detective Rollins said a house invasion raped mother and daughter. She requested Stabler to intervene because the burglars were police.
Stabler interrogated the mother. She said the police wore masks. They possessed guns and armour. She never identified them. They were discreet. Stabler informed Sergeant Bell. Stabler doubted the Brotherhood had returned because rape wasn’t normally involved. Cash drove the Brotherhood. They didn’t hurt drug traffickers’ families, but this new bunch did. Stabler visited victim homes. He discovered the victims’ son/brother was a drug dealer. Another crew robbed him. Just cops. Bullet casings showed no police were involved. No police-issued weapons. They carried semi-automatics. Just a crew. They robbed drug traffickers and raped any women in the residence while posing as police. No victim was well-described. They simply described the boss’s eyes. They were bright blue. Stabler and his team took over the case after discovering an organised crew. They heard about another robbery while searching their CIs for evidence. Instead of raping, they killed a woman. One of the robbers tried to halt the rape. He named him. Overhearing it killed the woman. Her brother heard the fight. He lay until the crew left. Stabler and his team answered his call. Jet used evidence from the site to identify a suspect.
Manny was a hired gun for that person. The crew called themselves Robin Hood. They stole from drug lords and gave to themselves. A fresh crew member protested the rape. Dante felt he was joining a get-rich-quick scheme when he joined his foster brothers after prison. After hearing that woman cry, he realised rape was involved. He approved robbery. He denied rape. He sought to persuade the leader. He recalled their foster care experiences. The leader held firm. Dante drank with Manny to unwind. Jet visited that bar. Her clothing was lovely. She pursued Manny. The detectives discovered another heist after she cloned his phone. They were there that night. They shot at the crew. The backup cops fired at Stabler and Bell. Stabler found suspicious. Stabler assumed those cops were going to kill him, so capturing two crew members was a miracle. They shot one man. It’s theirs. Manny was arrested. Dante died. Detective Reyes recognised both. They fostered him. Two of them raped because their foster dad abused them. They wanted to prove themselves. Reyes knew the crew leader. Vaughn, his other foster sibling.
