Bishop creates his own Waverider in 2214 Vancouver, using blueprints from his Gideon. He and his Ava clone aide become Time Masters, go to 1925, and destroy the Legends’ Waverider, then use the Ava clone technology to make robot replacements to fix the resultant aberrations. Gideon ejects the Ava clone into the timestream and makes a Bishop robot to live out his days so he can keep following the Legends, though he is hesitant after learning of his future story and the Legends’ role in it. Meanwhile, when Davies’ time machine malfunctions, Astra and Spooner assist Sara and Ava in expressing their dissatisfaction. While Gary and Gideon bond over their human experiences, Nate decides to move inside the totem. Davies explains to Zari that he developed the time machine to save his slain beloved Alun and comrades from the First World War. Behrad discovers they are at Chernobyl on the day of the meltdown in 1986. Davies issues an evacuation alert, which Bishop’s Gideon receives. The Legends rebuild the machine and flee, but Bishop, who had escaped the Waverider, rushes in at the last moment and joins them on their journey.
