After a long wait, WEDDING WEEK of LOVE IS BLIND Season 7 is finally here! There is sadness, happiness, and the big question in Episode 12: who will say “I do” at the altar? Things are very important now that there are only three couples left. As the show goes on, two couples get married and one engagement ends without warning.
LOVE IS BLIND SEASON 7 EPISODE 12: WEEK 4 RECAP
Ramses Prashad and Marissa George are shocked when they realize the truth about their relationship at the start of the episode. When they first got out of the pods, they seemed strong, but their journey in the real world was full of problems. In the first scene of the season finale, Ramses tells his family that he realized he couldn’t go through with the marriage after a deep conversation. His ex-wife’s unresolved feelings after the divorce made him feel bad, and he wasn’t sure if he should stay with Marissa.
Marissa is shocked when Ramses breaks off the engagement. She asks him to explain his reasons because she is confused and hurt, but his vague answers make her even more angry. He says that their energies don’t work well together— which is similar to what Marissa said when they were in the pods. In a heartbreaking moment, Ramses breaks up with Marissa— who falls to the floor in tears and complete despair. Ramses says he’s making the choice out of care, but Marissa is devastated by his change of heart and feels deeply hurt. She finally leaves without her ring and calls her mother in a sad voice.
Ramses and Marissa’s broken heart sets a sad mood for the episode, but it quickly turns lighter as the other couples get closer to their wedding days. The first people to come out are Tyler Walker and Ashley Davis. Tyler has been calm the whole trip, but as the wedding gets closer, he starts to show signs of stress. His mother tells him that he’s always been sure about Ashley, which makes him feel better.
Ashley thinks about the hard things she’s had to do, like forgiving her father and getting over family problems. She is being led down the aisle by her dad for part of the way and her mom for the rest. Ashley is sure that Tyler is the one for her. During their ceremony, they both say vows. The couple says “I do” and jumps the broom, which is an African tradition that means they are happy to be together. During the reception, Tyler even makes fun of the idea of starting a family.
Taylor and Garrett are next. Their relationship has been one of the most stable this season. When Taylor talks about having kids and grandkids with Garrett, it’s clear that she’s excited about their future together. Garrett spends time with Taylor’s dad and tells him he will love and care for her. Both sets of parents show support, but Garrett’s parents are worried about him moving to San Diego. Garrett tells them—though, that he’s given this choice a lot of thought.
Their wedding is very emotional, and Taylor wears a bonnet from her childhood as her “something old.” Taylor and Garrett both say moving vows— but Garrett’s is funnier and more sincere. Taylor talks about how Garrett has always been a source of love and warmth, saying that he is like the sun in the winter. It’s clear that the couple is deeply in love, so it’s no surprise that they both say “yes” at the altar.
The episode ends with scenes from their wedding receptions, but viewers still don’t know what will happen to the couples in the future. The real story of this season will end with the reunion, where unanswered questions and unresolved tensions are likely to come to the surface. Taylor and Garrett leave in a horse-drawn carriage.
