Luann and Sonja Episode 7: Christmas in July Celebration And Surprise Visitor

An American reality television program called Luann & Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake debuted on Bravo on July 9, 2023.   Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan from “The Real Housewives of New York City” are asked to help clean up the town of Benton, Illinois a tiny town with a population of 7,000. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the Benton City Council has asked them for help with things like building a new playground, making improvements to the animal shelter, and putting on a variety show.

“X-Mas in July,” is the trailer for the seventh episode of “Luann & Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake.”  In this episode, Luann and Sonja celebrate the completion of their freshly remodeled motel rooms, now known as Luann and Sonja suites, in their respective rooms.  Luann and Sonja decide to hold a “Christmas in July” celebration to promote community spirit and harmony. The purpose of the party is to host a fun celebration for everyone in the town.

Despite their best efforts to work together, Luann and Sonja’s creative differences still exist. Sonja continues to irritate Luann, especially when it comes to the song they are preparing to perform at the Benton Follies talent event. Just in time to ease the tension between Luann and Sonja and perhaps provide a resolution to their performance-related differences, a surprise visitor makes an appearance. A trailer for the upcoming episode titled “X-Mas in July”, promises that Benton, Illinois will see even more adventures and conflicts.

On August 13, 2023, at 10 pm, the episode is scheduled to premiere, and it promises to give viewers a combination of happy occasions, dispute resolution, and funny exchanges between Luann, Sonja, and the town’s inhabitants as they work on their projects and negotiate their relationships.

Luann and Sonja Episode 6 Recap

Hot Tub Delivery: To increase tourists, Luann and Sonja make the decision to have a hot tub delivered in order to add some excitement to the Benton Motel. Sonja is excited to be the first to unwind in the hot tub while it is being set up. They use a yard hose to fill the hot tub before jumping in while dressed. Although Mike, Luann’s brother, is not overly impressed by the hot tub stunt, Hiral, the wife of the motel owner, considers it amusing and a useful addition to the property’s services. The hot tub was added as a unique attraction to make up for the motel’s lack of other amenities like a pool or spa, according to owners Luann and Sonja.

Work at an Animal Shelter: To enable the dogs to play outside, Luann and Sonja installed a fence and dog enclosures at an animal shelter. Sonja makes a lighthearted remark about how much pleased the dogs are now that they can “shit outside.” When Luann and Sonja visit an animal shelter, they are happy to note that the outdoor play area they helped design is enhancing the quality of life for the animals there.

Preparation for the Benton Follies: Luann and Sonja are getting ready for a variety show known as the Benton Follies. They talk about their performance with Courtney Cox, a pianist.

Renovations to rooms: Luann and Sonja collaborate with their brother Mike to make Luann and Sonja suites in their motel rooms. Renovations have begun, the rooms have been demolished, and a new carpet has been selected. Sonja doesn’t participate much other than to offer Jell-O shots from her mini-fridge.

The episode ends with Luann and Sonja attending the Benton Follies talent event. There are differences of opinion over the performance, with Sonja taking it more lightly and Luann treating it seriously. Sonja thinks the kids should just have fun, whilst Luann adopts a professional approach. A cheerleading squad is under question, and the professionalism of the performance is up for discussion. Luann and Sonja become angry as she criticizes the acts during the rehearsals. Sonja thinks Luann is acting like Simon Cowell and is extremely critical.
