Higgins had a dream about a romantic sail with Magnum while on a stakeout. They are effectively probing a famous divorce lawyer’s unfaithful husband, Jared. A new customer, Emily, employs them to locate Mikal, a man she met at a coffee shop. Higgins figures out who Mikal is, but she wants to double-check him before telling Emily. They are to serve divorce papers on her husband, according to the lawyer. In exchange for paying his bar tab, Thomas recruits Rick to serve the papers.
Juliet tells Magnum about a sexual dream she had about him. A man is paying the marijuana grower at Mikal’s address to use his identity, according to the grower. They tell Emily she needs to move on, but she refuses and instead requests that they continue looking for him. Rick is invited in by Jared’s girlfriend, while Jared sneaks out. Outside the coffee shop, surveillance footage shows Mikal being forced into a car by Polaris corporate security. Shane Whelan, the man who slept with Katsumoto’s wife, is one of them. Polaris discovered Mikal wasn’t who he claimed to be, according to Whelan. Gordon seizes Mikal’s possessions. Mikal’s fingerprints prove that he is Mason Adams, who blamed his sister’s death on a Polaris herbicide. He was seeking to steal evidence that could be used against him.
Mason hid the evidence in Emily’s purse, endangering her life. Two men who broke into Emily’s apartment are killed by Magnum and Higgins. Emily’s purse contains an SD card, which Magnum recovers. With Mason in tow, more Polaris security arrives, including Whelan. Thomas gives Mason the SD card in exchange for it. Magnum gave up the card with the divorce images on it. The Polaris security force is apprehended by Katsumoto. Rick serves Jared with a forged coupon, and his girlfriend rushes out. Mason informs Emily about his sister when they are on a date.
