Montana will be a member of the Yuma Mayans, while details are scarce.
Manny Montana, a Good Girls alum, has joined the fourth season of Mayans M.C. Elgin James, the series’ executive producer, said the actor will join the cast in the upcoming fourth season in a Deadline exclusive. Montana’s job track suggests that leaving the good girls of Michigan for the wicked males of Santo Padre is a perfect fit.
Currently, James is keeping little information about Montana’s character under wraps, but he has stated that the character will cause havoc when he arrives and will be a member of the Yuma Mayans. Montana has a history of playing troublemakers, as evidenced by his appearances in Good Girls, The Mule, and Power. J.D. Pardo, Clayton Cardenas, Sarah Bolger, Michael Irby, Carla Baratta, Raoul Trujillo, Emilio Rivera, Danny Pino, Richard Cabral, and Edward James Olmos are among the already impressive cast members.
The Mayans M.C. covers the operations of a motorcycle club, the titular Mayans M.C., in a fictional Californian border town called Santo Padre. Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, Pardo’s character, gets dragged into a life he never envisioned for himself in his pursuit of vengeance after cartel violence kills his Mexican family’s American dream.
Sons of Anarchy, which aired from 2008 to 2014, is based in the same universe as this series. Beyond Montana’s casting, what makes the forthcoming fourth season so intriguing is the fact that the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club (also known as SAMCRO) will play a major role. The Mayans will face off against SAMCRO, who is seeking vengeance for the killing of SAMCRO road captain Allesandro Montez. Despite the fact that Montez was not killed by a Mayan, his death was indirectly caused by one’s deeds.
The Mayans were left in a hazardous position in the finale with seemingly no way out, finishing the season on a cliffhanger after a chaotic third season. In the fourth season opener, it will be intriguing to watch how they get out of their ‘inconvenient’ situation. We’re also interested to see how Montana’s character will impact the forthcoming season’s broader storyline. The fourth season faces a monumental undertaking, given that the third season finished with more questions than answers. According to the previously published teaser, the season will follow in the footsteps of the past seasons in terms of brutality, violence, and storytelling.
On April 19, Season 4 of Mayans M.C. will premiere with two back-to-back episodes. Montana will make his first appearance in the second episode of the season, “Hymn Among the Ruins.”
