Mayans M.C. Season 4 provides an update on the Galindo family in “Hymn Among the Ruins.“ Marcus Alvarez believes Miguel (Danny Pino) is dead during a meeting in the temple in the Santo Padre clubhouse, yet there’s no evidence to back up his claim. Miguel is still missing from the picture four months later. No one seems to know what happened to Miguel or his family, though. Mayans M.C. discloses Emily (Sarah Bolger) is working as a waitress at a restaurant and living in a shabby apartment near the end of episode 2.

There are still a lot of unanswered questions concerning Emily’s situation. Cristobal Galindo II, Emily’s son, doesn’t appear in the sequence at all, and there’s no evidence that anyone in Emily’s apartment is monitoring him, even though the lights are turned on when she walks in. It’s possible that she’s living with another family member or that she’s living alone. Emily is in an interesting situation now that Miguel is gone. EZ is now single as well, and the two have been in a constant orbit around each other. Because both of their relationships have ended, it’s completely possible that they’ll reunite at some point in the future. If Miguel is still alive, though, he will undoubtedly complicate everything when he returns.
