Modern Family ‘s Stars Eric Stonestreet and Ty Burrell Come Forward to Help COVID-19 Affected People.
Emmy Awarded ‘Modern Family‘ star Eric Stonestreet gives 200,000 meals to his hometown city to families affected by Coronavirus.
Primetime Emmy Awarded Ty Burrell has joined nearby tech group Silicon Slopes in raising funds for those being impacted by ongoing COVID-19 issues.
Stonestreet reported Wednesday on Twitter that he was giving 200,000 suppers to Harvesters.
I am donating 200,000 meals to @HarvestersORG in Kansas City. Lindsay and I love our hometown and want to help do what we can. I’m only posting this to maybe motivate you to do what you can, when you can, if you can, to help vulnerable families in our community during this time.

Burrell said he and his wife will seed the fund and are working with Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall and will be reaching out to Silicon Slopes representatives as well to get a fundraising portal in place, or a surrogate entity to process tax-deductible funds on behalf of the effort, in the next 24 hours. reported by deseret.com
