‘NCIS’ Season 19 Episode 19 Recap
Morgan, McGee’s four-year-old daughter, insists on wearing a princess outfit to school every day, which worries McGee. McGee becomes concerned when the squad brings in the teenagers who broke into a residence to host a party. Because the doors only unlock with QR codes that update every 20 minutes, the youths had to hack into the dwellings. Noah (Daniel DiMaggio) can’t be the hacker because he was caught on camera breaking into a residence earlier and attempts to pretend it’s not him while wearing the same sweatshirt. “You’re not even smart enough to take off the clothing you committed a crime in,” his mother (Brea Bee) says. Noah directs their attention to Teagan. McGee and Teagan bond over hacking and being military brats, and she insists that she is the only one who understands the base’s algorithm. However, Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) notifies McGee that the kids were already in custody when another break-in occurred the night before. Although McGee wants to believe Teagan, Knight reminds him that she is not a victim. Then the house where the most recent break-in occurred explodes, trapping the owner inside.
Teagan claims she has no idea who the lieutenant is and becomes enraged when he indicates she isn’t being truthful. When he admits there’s a lot about kids he doesn’t get, she suggests he listen to what his daughter wants. After meeting Jayden, her lover, on BratChat, a social media app for military kids, Teagan says she hacked the base service to fit in. The investigation leads them to an adolescent who is Noah’s half-brother and is selling the lieutenant’s mechanical butler. He says that the teens were planning a party at the lieutenant’s house, and Teagan was the one who sent the invitation. So she told McGee a falsehood. Plus, as Ernie (NCIS: Hawai’i’s Jason Antoon) reveals, the shrapnel in the explosion came from an antique WWI artillery shell. Teagan’s mother is an IED technician who excels in that field, and the lieutenant was about to deploy her to Latvia, which would have required Teagan to relocate once more. She possesses both motivation and opportunity. When McGee came to talk to her, she escaped out her bedroom window.
Teagan’s mother discloses that her daughter has never met Jayden in person, and Kasie realizes that she has been catfishing. He appears to be 40 years old, not 15. When the break-ins began three months ago, they began discussing. Deleted texts between the two show that he persuaded her to hack the system in order to break into houses and inquired about her mother’s experience. He was the one who assassinated the lieutenant. And now he’ll meet with Teagan to finish the job. When the agents hunt her down, McGee, the Teagan Whisperer, is the one who approaches her and tells her what’s actually going on. She refuses to believe him since it would imply that the only person who has ever gotten her isn’t real. They decline, but Teagan offers assistance by turning on his phone and raising the ringing to maximum volume so they can hear the beeps from her texts. After Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Alden Parker (Gary Cole) arrest him, McGee tells her, Well done. Jason Samuels is known as “Jayden.” After a hit-and-run, the lieutenant’s testimony landed him in prison for seven years. Teagan can’t believe she fell for it, but McGee assures her that if his kid grows up to be anything like her, he’ll be proud of her. Teagan informs him that his daughter is blessed to have him as a father since he listens well.
