NCIS Season 20 Episode 16 Recap
This week’s case involves what appears to be a “death zone” in a parking garage, except that everyone there is actually still alive. At a Navy Recruitment Center, there might have been a bioterrorist strike. NCIS was enlisted to look into the matter. Parker and his group were informed that anyone who attempted to enter the center or the adjacent parking garage had passed out. Kasie’s analysis reveals that they were slaughtered with an inhalation version of intravenous cow sedation. It’s a remarkable scientific achievement that has everyone wondering if the incident, which luckily did not result in any casualties, was a test run by terrorists.
We meet the victims in the hospital, including the steely Navy Capt. Boggs, a husband guy, and a young woman named Dorothy (Julianne Collins) complain about her broken cell phone and casually mention a white van driving off just before the attack. Everything about this is so nonchalant that I immediately suspect her. In the meantime, Knight’s dad has been released from the operating room. Palmer learns of the situation first because he is listed as Jess’s father’s primary care physician with the Japanese hospital. During the accident, infectious dirt spores entered his wound. It’s extremely unusual, but he’ll be fine. The fact remains that I believe Knight should book a flight to Japan immediately.
