Vonner military contractors seeking for a treasure.And 18 months later, one of these men is discovered dead among the graves in Arlington National Cemetery. Everyone exits the building except for Torres (Wilmer Valderrama), who has an early morning appointment with Dr. Grace Confalone (Laura San Giacomo). Torres criticises her for her empty office. When he dismisses a generic photo of a sunflower in a desolate field, Dr. Grace gets indignant.The Arlington body is stuffed with stones, making it unusually heavy. Erik Nilsson was the deceased; his body included 63 stones, one of which was sculpted to resemble an eagle.Ducky (David McCallum) sees it as a mythological image and advises consulting Smithsonian symbologists. Palmer (Brian Dietzen) proposes Ducky go along so Kasie can arrange his surprise birthday party. She throws lavish theme parties . Ducky knows about the plans but plays along. When they discover that Nilsson’s last call was to Dr. Grace, Torres is already on his way to her office.
The confrontation between Torres and a masked attacker ends as a second masked man enters the room bearing a gun. Torres had discovered Grace unconscious on the floor. they’re kidnapped and taken to a remote jail. The team establishes that Nilsson wasn’t a patient of Grace’s and connects touch DNA found in her office to Vonner contractors Ezra Moretti and Nate Holt, who were both let out of jail last week and likely sought down Nilsson to get their hands on the loot. The robbers used Daniel Vega, an employee of Vonner Shipping, to smuggle the treasure back into the nation, therefore leaking the news of Nilsson’s death to the public was obviously meant to warn Vega. The men want Grace’s computer to catch Vega, who stole from them.
After they shoot Torres in the arm , Grace brings them to the boy’s hiding place. Grace holds onto that picture as a reminder to never fail another patient and takes responsibility for her actions. She says she’s married but doesn’t live with her husband. The gang is sent to the recently shut down Hawthorne Zoo after Kasie uses her magic to discover straw with lion dander. Vega is in a mental hospital and need Grace’s assistance to enter or Holt would kill Torres. Vega is in bad shape. Grace injects Vega with a sedative she stole from a passing cart to put him to sleep for hours, saving him from being questioned. After rescuing Torres and learning the plan, the squad is already there.
When the squad arrives at the hospital with their pistols drawn, Grace first attempts to upset Moretti by bringing up his wife before actually throwing him off balance by elbowing him in the stomach. They kill Moretti, save Grace, and discover the location of Vega’s reburied loot, which will be given to an NGO and returned to Afghanistan. After that, Ducky surprises everyone at his surprise party by showing up by himself. Everyone, with the exception of Torres. Then Torres likens Grace to that strong but lonely sunflower in the image and exhorts her to get in touch with her estranged spouse as a result of her constant focus on her patients. She picks up the phone as the programme comes to a close, perhaps to call Mr. Dr. Grace.
