NCIS Season 20, Episode 8 titled called “Turkey Trot” It will get underway with a local marathon, which is an event in which Kasie and Jimmy will both be participating. (It’s worth mentioning here that Diona Reasonover who plays forensic scientist Kasie on the show and Scott Williams collaborated on the writing of this episode.) However, unexpected gunshots just before the start of the race dramatically derail everything, and an inquiry leads to the conclusion that Agent Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) may have been the intended target of the shots. Someone reported a crime to NCIS. Three offenses were desired. Felix Lassiter went to NCIS to report his wife’s attempted murder since she was their employer. Navy Secretary Tara Flynn. Opposites attracted in their marriage. It didn’t work out since they were divorcing and he wasn’t signing the papers. After she dumped him, he felt he might get her back. He had three near-fatal “accidents” in a week to win her back. Felix thinks his wife killed him. He had no enemies. Toy engineer. He’s an entrepreneur with three pending patents. Not that caused his divorce. Felix was a conspiracy theorist. He constantly felt persecuted. After he accused her of having an affair with the Sultan of Brunei, Tara had enough. Tara was abroad, so she couldn’t be behind these “accidents.” Felix was sacked after a cardiac incident. Felix nearly died at HQ. It was his fourth near-fatal accident, and he would have perished without immediate aid. He was hospitalized. His blood was negative. Not Kasie. Kasie examined Felix’s blood and found a nerve agent in it. Few Navy personnel have access to it.
This included Felix’s wife. Tara was suspected in Felix’s attempted killings. He was almost hit by a car, carbon monoxide leaked into his flat, and someone stole his model train. They sent Tara home after learning he was poisoned by nerve gas. She was surprised when her own employees questioned her during a work trip to Amsterdam. Her spouse was poisoned, they said. She said Felix hadn’t told her all about his adversaries. Felix gambles excessively. He gambled their life savings and their daughter’s education money. Tara stated Felix owes his bookie money. Bookie Olev Koslov. Tara felt Olev was mob-connected. The team investigated. Found Olev. Felix owes him nothing, he said. Felix stopped betting. He’s in GA. Olev’s automobile almost hit Felix. Olev wasn’t driving. Zero was driving. Zero revealed McGee Felix’s death threats. The texts said Felix intended to kill himself but was too terrified, therefore the team believed he sought to frame Tara. Felix was questioned. His hospital room was empty. Felix ran away from the hospital. Arlene, Felix’s daughter, was interviewed. Her dad hasn’t bet recently, she claimed.
Her gambler spouse assisted her dad to enter GA. She noticed the hitman’s texts. Her dad didn’t write like that. She noticed dad’s texts, proving Felix still writes everything down. He punctuates sentences. The hitman’s message was different. Emojis and brief phrases appeared. Someone exploited Felix’s phone to hire a hitman. Felix was murdered. His crew went searching. They learned he booked into a hotel along a train track and found a bloodied room. The squad thought Felix’s killer had located him. The hotel blood wasn’t Felix’s. His son-in-law owned it. Victor bets. Olev owes $50,000. Arlene was the lone beneficiary of Felix’s life insurance. Victor tried to assassinate Felix again at the hotel since Felix told Arlene where he was staying. Victor tried to kill someone. He’d divorce. Felix was found alive and well, but he and Tara broke up. They fought again and decided to part ways.
