The new movie Forever Rich is the story of a boy who aspires to be rich and famous, Richie embarks on a journey to become the greatest rap artist in the Netherlands but is robbed by a group. His hard-earned money gets wasted when the outrageous robbery pictures are online. Will Richie be able to reclaim his reputation, or will it be the end of his career? He chooses to risk everything to regain his position. It appears to be an interesting variation on the story of finding out that life isn’t just about wealth and glory.

As per Netflix, ‘Forever Rich’ follows the story of “Richie and his journey to becoming the greatest rap artist in the Netherlands. One evening he is violently robbed by a group of teenagers and loses his most prized possession: an expensive watch. When images of the humiliating robbery go viral, Richie’s hard-earned reputation is damaged. Can Richie restore his image or will this be the end of his career?”

‘Forever Rich’ stars Jonas Smulders (Richie), Daniel Kolf (Tony), Sinem Kavus (Anna), Hadewych Minis (Els), Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing (Jessica), Mustafa Duygulu (Abdel), Yassin Dardour (Bilal) and Sergio Krijnen (Witte Masker) in the lead. Joining them are Jelisa van Schijndel, Martijn Oversteegen, Kendrick Etmon, Sabri Saad El Hamus, Tim Olivier Somer, Richelle Plantinga, Safae Gounane, Matteo van der Grijn, Tony van der Veer, Simen van den Berg, Finn Klinkhamer, Simon van Lammeren and Zoe Love Smith.
The film is written by Golden Calf winning duo, Shady El-Hamus (‘De Libi’, ‘Nightshade’) and Jeroen Scholten van Aschat (‘De Libi’, ‘Fenix’). Shady El-Hamus will also direct the film.
