After Adrian Lovell tries to kill Maya, the FBI offers her amnesty in exchange for her surrendering her child to foster care and assuming a new name in Alaska. She accepts, but when her now 12-year-old daughter is threatened, Maya knows she must take something. Maya goes on multiple rescue missions to save her kid from the villains throughout the film, and one of them disappears midway through.
