You Season 4 What happened to Librarian Marienne?

In the third season of the Netflix thriller, when Joe Goldberg seek refuge in his neighborhood library and, of course, fell in love with Marienne, we had the opportunity to meet the librarian. Despite Joe’s best efforts to make us believe he was about to settle into a relatively normal life with his wife Love Quinn, he couldn’t help but fantasize about a future with Marienne. Marienne, however, already had more than enough issues to deal with without Joe showing up. Through Season 3, the sober mother fought hard against her ex, the reporter Ryan (Scott Michael Foster), for custody of their daughter, Juliette.

Her abusive ex-boyfriend met his own tragic end when Joe murdered him and made everyone believe that he had been the victim of a botched robbery attempt. After that, Marienne gave in to the thought that she and Joe could begin a new chapter together along with their children Henry and Juliette by eloping with them and allowing themselves to be overtaken by the fantasy that they could do so. But Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) had a lot to speak about it, and after learning of her husband’s affair, she did not waste any time in warning Marienne that Joe had murdered Ryan in order to be with her. Despite Love’s initial intent to kill Marienne, she changed her mind, and Marienne Bellamy’s whereabouts were unknown at the start of Season 4.

Joe, as we learn in Episode 1’s flashbacks, spent a great deal of time in the past chasing after her through the streets of Paris. He was aware of her plans to bring her daughter, Juliette, with her. Marienne (Tati Gabrielle) is still a source of irritation. Joe, before he was Jonathan Moore, escaped from Madre Linda and followed Marienne from Paris to London, where he confronted her at an art fair. She runs scared into an empty building from him, and then she pulls out a knife. However, she has the courage to tell him the truth: he is not a good man who did a bad thing. In other words, he’s a killer.

Unexpectedly, Joe lets her go, proving to her that he is not the mindless killer she has been making assumptions about. But later, Elliot Tannenberg (Adam James), a hitman hired by Love’s dad pays Joe a visit to find Joe and eliminate him. In spite of this, Elliot decides he has had enough of the bloodshed and stops killing altogether. He spares Joe’s life by instructing him to eliminate the only potential loose end in the situation: Marienne. Joe pursues her to the train station, but he decides against killing her. Instead, he steals her pendant and lets her go, later convincing Elliot that he killed Marienne and is no longer Joe Goldberg. Elliot agrees to help Joe assume the identity of Jonathan Moore.
