To begin with, the title is “Two Doors” which was directed by Ryan Eggold. This would be very Special. Max’s (Eggold) battle to take down the hospital’s cold-hearted administrator, Victoria Fuentes (Michelle Forbes), could be vital in this episode if only he can get other former employees to join his scheme. Back at the hospital with a new case, Iggy (Tyler Labine) takes on a controversial case with a brainwashed father (Oz’s Lee Tergesen), and Dr. Wilder (Sandra Mae Frank) seeks help from holistic specialist Dr. Castries (Genevieve Angelson) with a terminal patient. New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 15 will release on Tuesday, January 22, 2022, on NBC from 10:03 PM – 11:00 PM. New Amsterdam will be available on Hulu and NBCUniversal’s own streaming platform Peacock the day after it airs on television. Note that only earlier seasons are available on the free edition of Peacock. Traditional cable/satellite pay-TV subscribers can watch New Amsterdam because it is an NBC show. A TV antenna can also take up local NBC stations. Of course, if you use newer live TV streaming providers. The doctors gathered to pay their respects to Dr. Vijay Kapoor, who died recently. Everyone, including Agnes and Casey, who have returned for the event, speaks to Kapoor and bids him farewell. Max volunteers to help Chaplain Alpert distribute meals to the needy. Bloom was treating Rohan Kapoor, who had overdosed on something. She tried to hide because she was so taken aback by Rohan’s appearance. Rohan is taken to the emergency room. Lauren decides to place him in a coma. Max and Helen are taken aback by the new alterations, and Helen confronts Wilder about them, telling her about the Resistance and how everything is still present but hidden. Lauren is told by Leyla that she should not go because the ED need her presence. Lauren discovers some drugs in Rohan’s hands and seizes them. Iggy has an eight-year-old patient who wants to be free of his parents and appears to know everything. Max is angered by Veronica’s actions and wishes to assist her, but everyone has moved on since he left. He has a habit of going off on people. Wilder goes over all of the adjustments with Helen and then summons Max to the morgue. They notify him of the current state of affairs. Mia makes a few demands of Fuentes, who agrees to them in exchange for information about the resistance. Iggy discovers that his patient is being represented by two lawyers who just want a shrink on the books for his case. Iggy persuades Jack to attend weekly treatment. Lauren tells Helen that she needs to go and that the hospital is affecting her sobriety and sanity. She doesn’t believe she has the right to leave and Helen tells her to take care of herself. With the way things are going, FLoyd lets out that patients could perish. Max is taken aback when Wilder performs a secret surgery on the Chaplain. There’s a knock at the door just as they’re ready to start operation. Fuentes is the name. The chaplain is saved, but not in New Amsterdam. Iggy converses with Rohan. Veronica convenes a meeting with all of the participants. Wilder attempts to absolve everyone by resigning, but Veronica refuses. She relegates Iggy to the position of department chair. Lauren declines to resign when Veronica asks her about it, but Fuentes accepts her resignation nevertheless. Mia was not a snitch. Floyd had done it. Max is all set to depart. Helen informed Max that he couldn’t go back to London after seeing how bad things had gotten at New Amsterdam under Veronica’s watch. “This is your fight,” she said. All their friends and colleagues are fighting back, but “they’re losing because you’re not here,” she added. She then told him to stay and fight, and that if he won, he should return to her.
