New Amsterdam Season 5 Episode 8 Recap: Did Lauren Bloom’s mother die?
At this point, the most important task at hand is to make clear the nature of the catastrophe that befell Dr. Lauren Bloom’s (Janet Montgomery) whole family at the show’s conclusion. This came up as she was listening to a tale of a mother who used drugs, which brought up sad memories from her own history.
