Cop Joe explains the circumstances surrounding Wayne Coleman’s death. He stated that he tried to do the right thing. They decide it was a clean shot, but he will be assigned to desk duty and will receive counseling. Nurse Joe and Chris will observe the heavens in search of the Orion night meteor shower. Jenny (Elizabeth Lail) and Joe are preparing to begin marriage counseling. Uncle Frank presented Rockstar Joe’s son with a yearbook. Eric showed up to chastise Joe for skipping the campaign and instead of attending Jenny’s party. Jenny and Joe, a nurse, go to couples therapy. They tell Eric and Amy how it went in between scenes, and the two buddies provide marital counsel. Eric informs Joe of Amy’s Atlanta offer. Cop Joe despises going to counseling. Cop Jenny and Joe cross paths. She wants to discuss the case with you. She notices he’s worried and assures him that she’ll be there for him. Jenny’s father is furious. Those tests were performed by Nuse Joe, but Bobby Diaz does have Parkinson’s disease.
Music Joe returns to Jenny to apologize and carries the yearbook with him. He invites her to accompany him in order to see their son. She initially refuses, but after speaking with her father, she agrees to accompany Joe. They stop for burgers and wait for him at the school. Finally, they notice him in a wheelchair. Nurse Joe and Jenny have a disagreement about Jenny’s counseling grant offer. Joe believes she feels sorry for him. Joe later states that he doesn’t want her to resent him and that they will follow her. He’s confident they’ll figure it out. Jenny informs Cop Joe that Wayne’s sister used to work for Bobby and is now deceased. They believe he was having an affair with her.
