In the Dark Season 3 Episode 11, Trey went to work handcuffing her and calming her down and Murphy devise a plan to blackmail her in exchange for information about Jennifer Walker’s brother. They discover a note and threaten to use screenshots from her conversations with Darnell. Darnell returns home and responds to Sarah’s text. He notices she was trying to type something different and realizes something is wrong. He dials her number. Sarah tells Murphy that she’s clinging to a sliver of hope and that Jess must be dead. They learn about Patrick Walker and plan to track him out to see if he knows anything about Jess. Sarah makes an attempt to locate Trey. Patrick Walker is interviewed. Sarah wants Murphy to take her to the police station so she can see the interrogation clip. Sarah is bugged and taken to the police station. In an attempt to get under Trey’s skin and make him turn on her, Sarah questions Josh about Murphy and why he fell for her. They are watching Patrick’s interrogation. His alibi and the great secret are that he was taking SATs for people.
Trey agrees to take Sarah’s bargain and let her go, promising to delete the message if she lets them escape without being pursued by the cops. He keeps a copy of the snapshot for insurance purposes and then sends her on her way. They’re on their way to meet Jennifer’s pal. Trey delivers Murphy to Lesley’s, but she refuses to let her in and pays her to leave. She tells Murphy that Felix and Max were supposed to go, but they didn’t. Murphy still has visions of Jess. She meets and sleeps with a trucker, and she convinces him to take her to see Jennifer’s pal. She knocks on the door and inquires about the bracelets, to which the friend apologizes.
