The previous episode sets the stage for Raq and Unique (Joey Bada$$). He is torturing his childhood friend Trez-G for an unsuccessful delivery. He doesn’t trust anyone in his team. A demon ignites inside him. When the police ambush him again and his supplies are stopped by Deen. He suspects that Raquel is the cause of his current problems. Raq brings home a Symphony (Toby Sandeman), while having dinner, the symphony tries to entangle Kanan in small talk. Is rude to the guests of Raq. Kanan, on the other hand, is good at cooking. Later, she signs Kanan for after-school and weekend classes.
On the Upper East Side, Jukebox (Hailey Kilgore) and Nicole enjoy re-watching their recorded live performances. Nicole’s father tries to use slang about the Jukebox. She is determined that Nicole’s parents are cool. Tony and Marvin (London Brown) leave the one-sex scene to have sex. But when he tries to hug her he suddenly leaves. The show reveals the show’s theme of racial differences, in romantic relationships. The love triangle between Crown Camacho, Lou-Lou, and Jessica is about to get dangerous. Crown’s eyes are on Jessica, Lou-Lou’s girl, and she is ready to do anything to get her brother. Raquel, Lou-Lou, and Marvin now have a more secure, secret home. Davina (Lovie Simone) admires Kanan’s family life. Despite living in the same neighborhood and attending the same school, the two teenagers have contrasting backgrounds. Davina’s mother is on drugs; Kanan’s mother dominates the drug game. Unique asks Davina for information about Kanan, in return for paying her mother for her substance abuse treatment. There is a chance to get your mother back. This puts Kanan and his family in danger. She tells Unique about the stash house in which she has seen Kanan.
Marvin changes plans without Raq’s permission and picks up Kanan while he is on his way to school. Marvin drops Kanan into the house and gives him instructions: Don’t open the door to anyone. When he returns, he learns that they have been ambushed. As they try to defend the product, firing ensues. Inside Kanan is caught at gunpoint. Arriving just in time, Marvin shoots the masked gunman.
Jukebox doesn’t want to borrow anyone to help. So she herself robs a truck and is caught but is let go by the guards. She later gives Nicole the jacket, and the two have sex. Regrets his decision to leave Kanan alone, it will not be good if Raq finds out about this. Both try their best to hide it but fail. In the episode finale, Raquel finds Kanan’s bloody shirt under his bed.
