And Ruck seems to have an agenda of his own, and he’s not going to change it for anyone. Crown can also show up-and-coming talent what it’s got, and what it’s lost.

The next episode is only a week away. Starz has announced that there will be no new episodes this weekend. The reason why he is taking a break right in the middle of the season is not given a clear reason.  instead of a new installment, there will be repeats of the first five episodes that aired throughout the day.

Power Book III Raising Kanan: Season 1 Episode 5 Recap

The events of Episode 4 continue to set the stage. After P-We’s murder, Kanan (Mekai Curtis) is unaware of the fact that his blood-soaked shirt has been in his mother’s hands. The point comes when he goes downstairs for breakfast.  Raq (Patina Miller) asks about it, so he weaves a new story, showing loyalty to his uncle Marvin (London Brown). Raq appears in full-mom mode while Kanan is in dope boy mode. And is not affected by the reproach of his mother.

Meanwhile,  Detective Howard (Omar Epps) and his accomplices head to the now-abandoned secret house. Raq talks to Marvin about the stash home, something he doesn’t explain as clearly as Kanan did. tries to cover Raq. Then She tells about her plan to move on from Unique. She wants to keep the product out of the corners, from the eyes of the police, and to enter the buildings. meanwhile, Lou-Lou (Malcolm Mays) and Marvin get into a tussle, the police stop. Raq rescues her brothers once again.

As the Symphony (Toby Sandeman) and Kanan go well, Kanan investigates to find out who left the house. And, Kanan places the blame on Scrappy. The two get into a fight and the police arrive. and gets arrested. Unaware that Howard and Burke (Shanley Caswell) are following him. Detective Howard receives some disappointing information that none of his relatives are matches for a bone marrow transplant. In the middle of the episode, Raq runs into another problem – an older male tenant who doesn’t want to leave his condo. But Raq’s biggest problem is his sons. When they get together in the kitchen, Raq realizes that Kanan is not like him. Jukebox is known for losing her virginity. Lou-Lou’s (Malcolm Mays) help also gives him the opportunity to sing on a popular track in the studio. She enthralled everyone in the studio. But that’s not to the surprise of Nicole’s mother, however, when they hang out at the Jukebox (Hailey Kilgore) and Nicole (Annabelle Zasowski) is caught by Nicole’s mother. Both perish.

At the end of the episode, as Scrappy (Ade Chike Torbert) chooses Unique (Joey Bada$$), Detective Howard confronts Raq about Kanan’s paternity. Raq ignored the charges against himself. She tells her ex-boyfriend Howard, “Kanan is out of bounds for you… stay away from my son.” However, He claims – “Kanan is my son!” The episode ends with lots of questions.
