Power Book III: Rising Kanan Season 2 Episode 10, titled “If Y’don’t Know, Now Y’know This spinoff crime thriller also deals with family struggle, ending its second season with lead character Kanan Stark (MeKai Curtis) leaving his Queens drug queen-pin mother Raq (Patina Miller) to create his own street company in South Jamaica. He has been avoiding the commercial side of things in other places lately, growing distant from Raq and closer to Howard. But Kanan hasn’t given up on the game just because she got away from Raq and her influence. It appears that Kanan will start moving on his own, away from the shadow of his powerful family. Meanwhile, Raq also struggles to reconcile with his brother Lou-Lou (Malcolm Mays).

Raising Kanan Season 2, Unique has made a comeback as he has begun to adjust and carve out his own course. Marvin attends the burial of Renée. Jimmy is killed by Lou-Lou outside the lanes. When the police arrest the crack addict Sam for theft, he confesses to them that he knows who shot Howard, but they don’t pay attention. He keeps talking about the shooting after arriving at the jail, attracting Burke’s attention. The keys to Raq’s new home are handed over. When Famous asks Lou-Lou for free studio time in exchange for his rent since he is short on money, Cartier intervenes to reject the request. At the mosque, Howard runs into Kanan and lets him know he knows he is his father. Additionally, Howard advises him not to bring up the shooting because it has already happened. Sam keeps talking to Burke about the shooting, mentioning how he saw the shooter with Famous and Howard. When Raq frees Traymont’s accomplice Abraham from jail, he promises to talk to her about collaborating with her after she deals with Cartier.
Howard overhears Sam and Burke conversing after Sam is freed. Cartier says to Raq that he wants to invest in her business. Sal approaches Unique and promises him he won’t act as an informant in exchange for information regarding Raq’s business. Raq informs Marvin and Lou-Lou that they are standing up once more to pursue Boselli. She also advises Marvin to fire Sam. Corinne is approached by Famous who forces her to hand over Palomar’s gun. Following attempting to rob Freddy at gunpoint at his home later, he shoots Freddy dead after a confrontation. When Jukebox meets with Nicole’s father and an Internal Affairs officer, she is questioned about Burke but won’t provide any details. Instead of killing Sam, Marvin lifts him up and puts him on a bus with money. Sam, however, exits the bus afterward. Cartier is murdered at his art gallery by Raq and Lou-Lou.
