Bill Hader‘s Emmy-winning shows Barry is back for one last season. The hitman/actor dude is now locked up in jail. It’s gonna be dark and twisted, but hilarious as always. You gotta see how Gene Cousineau (played by the amazing Henry Winkler) deals with a pesky reporter. So, things are getting pretty crazy after Barry’s big arrest. His ex-girlfriend Sally is back in town, but she’s still struggling with her anxiety. Meanwhile, Noho Hank is as cheerful as ever – even though he’s cooking up a new plan with his old buddy Cristobal. The last season is still figuring out if Barry, who’s done a lot of bad stuff, can be forgiven or not. It’s super exciting! Barry Season 4 Premiere Recap
The season four premiere begins with Barry continuing to have flashbacks to his upbringing, including his initial encounter with Fuches, while he is incarcerated. At present, Barry calls Gene from jail. Sally travels back to Joplin after hearing about Barry’s arrest and the murder of Janice Moss while she’s been with him, and she experiences a nervous breakdown. Gene is getting ready to be the star witness at Barry’s hearing, and Fuches is also in jail with him, so everyone’s lives have worsened as a result of Barry’s incarceration. At least Hank is happy; he and Cristobal are exploring Santa Fe’s stunning landscape. Cristobal, on the other hand, takes notice when he learns that the cost of building has increased dramatically due to a scarcity of high-quality sand. He recommends to Hank that they make a killing by importing sand through their criminal connections.
Fuches backs out of the agreement with the FBI and begins organizing a gang to secure his and Barry’s safety. He becomes fixated on the fact that Sally visits him in jail because she says she feels safe in his company. Later, he bargains with the FBI for relocation to subsidized housing in exchange for information on the Chechen mafia, and he thinks about an older version of himself and Sally dancing at a marriage ceremony. Sally tries to go back into acting, but Lindsay cautions her that it will be incredibly difficult because to her affiliation with Barry and the viral incident with Natalie. Gene gives Lon a highly dramatic performance of his relationship with Barry. When Sally asks Gene why he didn’t notify her that Barry had slain Janice, he ignores her. When Cristobal attempts to gather the warring gangs together so that they may help him transport and sell high-quality sand, Hank disrupts the conference by bringing up the subject of freeing Barry from prison. Cristobal is convinced that Barry does not care about him, but then Fuches phones him, distraught, to tell him that Barry is actually helping the FBI.
