Here’ the recap of Emergence Season 1 Episode 5 titled “RDZ9021” which aired Oct 29.
After arresting Augur Industries CEO Richard Kindred (guest star Terry O’Quinn) for a litany of crimes related to Piper and the cover-up, Kindred tells Jo (Allison Tolman) that this won’t stick, he’s more powerful than she can even imagine, and that this will all quickly fade. And when Jo arrives at the station to book Kindred, she finds that he may have been right.
Piper (Alexa Swinton) has been having strange visions — a door, leading to a large staircase. Finally, she is able to go up the stairs and finds Richard Kindred (guest star Terry O’Quinn) waiting for her. He says he’s created this place where just the two of them can talk.
As Ed (Clancy Brown) drives Mia (Ashley Aufderheide) and Piper (Alexa Swinton), he passes out at the wheel. Mis pulls the emergency brake, but they skid into the other lane toward a speeding semi truck — and then Piper takes over.
