RESCUE: HI-SURF SEASON 1 EPISODE 19 RECAP

Will Ready (Adam Demos) and his ex-girlfriend Julie have a heated argument at the start of the episode. Still hurting from being lied to in the past, Julie gives Will one last blow to the ego by calling him “an emotionally stunted liar whose psychological problems are going to require years of therapy.” He is scared by what she said, and he is thinking about his role in Ocean’s life and in his own future.

At the same time, Em (Arielle Kebbel) gets a very good offer to take a famous social media personality on a three-week trip through the Pacific. She is excited about the idea and starts to think about taking Will with her right away. Will, on the other hand, has other ideas. He’s going back to Australia. When he tells Em the news, she goes from being excited to being devastated. Will says he’ll be back, but his tone doesn’t sound like he really means it. The moment is sad because he sneaks off without saying goodbye to the rest of the team.

Taylor Cooper, Alex Aiono and Zoe Cipres

In a different story, Kainalu (Alex Aiono) and Rosie (Taylor Cooper) are at a very important point in their relationship. Rosie suggests that they move in together, but Kainalu isn’t sure. For now, he’d rather stay with his team. Rosie is right when she says that she thinks Kainalu and Hina (Zoe Cipres) have a connection. While watching a local hula show, Kainalu can’t take his eyes off of Hina. She gives him knowing looks before saying yes to Eitan’s dance invitation. Rosie watches with a mix of doubt and sadness because she knows that their relationship might not last.

At the same time, Sonny (Robbie Magasiva) wins a big victory when he gets Vince (Moronai Kanekoa) to quit after finding out that he was selling drugs. But Sonny now owes Henry a favor, which will probably come back to haunt him in Season 2.

Laka (Kekoa Kekumano), who is back at Ocean’s, is happy about being promoted to lieutenant. Even though everyone was happy, the team felt sad because Will wasn’t there and the future of several relationships wasn’t clear.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN RESCUE: HI-SURF SEASON 2:

The second season of Rescue: HI-Surf promises a lot of emotional upheaval as the characters face new problems. When Will went to Australia at the end of Season 1, there was a hole in the story. However, Will could come back. Em’s new job could lead her in a different direction if she doesn’t have Will with her. Things may get more complicated because Kainalu’s relationship with—Rosie isn’t going well and his feelings for Hina are growing. At the same time, Laka’s promotion to Lieutenant suggests that he will have more responsibility. Season 2 will definitely look into these relationships—with a mix of personal growth and the dangers of their job as lifeguards.
