After a long hiatus, the once romantic and musical show Riverdale is back with its strangely mysterious and violent events. In the Season 5B premiere, we see the city filled with criminals from the prison broken into by Hiram. Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica agree not to rekindle their relationship. Archie wants to collect the money so they can start fixing the school. Kevin (Casey Cott), Fangs (Drew Ray Tanner) and his uncle Frank come forward to help him. Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Tabitha are looking for Jughead (Cole Sprouse). He then decides to go back to New York City to face the demons to uncover the secret and gets into the cab of a strange truck driver.

Riverdale Episode 87 Recap
Archie learns that Veronica is coming back to town. both meet and She tells him that Chad did not sign the divorce papers and that her plan also included selling Ethiopian blue opals to a buyer in Montreal, but the plan does not come to fruition. Archie wants them to remain friends until Chad signs it. Veronica’s shop is robbed. She invites Dodger (Juan Riedinger) and Darla Dickinson to her store and they both clean Veronica’s shop. She also calls on Reggie for help. Hiram pretends to be a nice guy as he and the governor offer a reward for catching the criminals. Archie considers taking advantage of this so they can start fixing the school. Kevin, Fangs, and his uncle Frank are also on hand to help him. Cheryl’s (Madelaine Petsch) mother returns home after escaping from prison. and tells her plans to start a church. But Cheryl doesn’t seem impressed.
During a musical, Reggie leads the people to Hiram’s vault, which they can easily pull off the wall. People make their way up to the skylight at Archie’s community center. They all fight. Veronica gets her opal back. Meanwhile, Jughead is missing. Tabitha (Erinn Westbrook) calls Betty but Betty settles matters involving her sister. They both read Jug’s manuscript. But eventually, Betty calls Jug’s ex, Jess, who has also sold her mushrooms. And Jessica (Phoebe Miu) wants to come to Riverdale to help. Betty also shares a really awful voicemail that Jug left two years ago. Jess tells that at one point she confessed to drugging them. she really wants to read Jug’s manuscript. She did not want her family to read her. Betty hands the manuscript to Jess, and Jess leaves, leaving Betty and Tabitha alone in the bunker.
Elsewhere, Jughead is alive. He is thrashed by a group of drunken businessmen and he is at the doctor. Then one night the doctor was beaten up and nobody did anything. But when the doctor has beaten up again and he is saved. He finally confesses his identity. Penelope (Nathalie Boltt) started a ministry in prison and has now decided to continue it. At the end of the episode Hiram tells the governor that he will never share palladium and Jughead does not return to Riverdale. Because something terrible happened to her in New York, she has to figure it out. Tabitha gets a voicemail from Jughead. She is safe and is on her way to New York. But then he gets into a truck on Lonely Highway.
