Riverdale Season 5 Episode 17 Recap – Chapter Ninety-Three
Betty and Tabitha have a conversation in tonight’s Riverdale episode. There haven’t been any killings in ten nights. Meanwhile, Archie and his pals continue to toil in the mines. In their divorce, Veronica and Chad split their assets. After he asks for a house she bought and paid for, she tells him angrily that all she wants is Archie (KJ Apa). At the diner, Tabitha receives a call. Squeaky, her buddy and a waitress at Pop’s, has gone missing. Toni chats with a boy who is being bullied at school because he is LGBT. Toni expresses her willingness to help.
Tabitha is with Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and Betty. She requires assistance in locating her pal. Betty and Jug continue to investigate their case. Betty receives a phone call. A new body has been discovered, and it has been mangled. It’s possible that it’s her sister.
In the meantime, Chad meets with Hiram, who advises him to kill Archie in order to provide his marriage to Veronica. Chad is given a ghost gun by Hiram. Chad tries to kill Archie with a gun that night, but it fails, and Archie fractures Chad’s nose with a garbage can lid. Veronica returns to the divorce proceedings and informs him that she wants everything and that if he doesn’t, she will file charges against him for Archie’s murder. Jughead becomes engrossed in Betty’s investigation and suspects that his old student Logan’s brief disappearance is connected. The coroner then arrives with a fresh body that has been completely disfigured. Logan informs Betty Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Jughead that he was sleepwalking and awoke in a metal shack that looked like a spacecraft, where he was let go and sworn to secrecy by a man calling himself “the Moth Man.” The coroner then determines that the dead body is Squeaky’s. Nana Rose is interrogated, and she admits that she gave her cheating husband’s children to a family in the woods known as the Starkweathers. They find the shed, and Jughead realizes that the old man he met in the woods is a member of the killer trucker family. The old man admits to everything. Betty and Tabitha are being pursued by armored Moth Men! However, they fight their way out, and the old man tells Betty where Polly is. Betty and Alice (Mädchen Amick) set out to locate her. She’s found dead in a car trunk.
Archie and Eric are stuck inside the Blossom mines after an explosion. When Veronica and Cheryl arrive on the scene, Veronica suspects Hiram of being the perpetrator. Veronica visits Hiram and knocking him out and ties him to a chair. Veronica gives him an ultimatum: if Archie dies, she will assassinate him. Archie and Eric are having a mental battle, and Archie starts seeing glimpses of Bingo and the other troops. Cheryl begs Veronica to go home while she summons the elements to help Archie and Eric after she is hurt trying to clear wreckage from the mines. It works, and Archie and Eric emerge alive from the mines. Veronica returns home to tidy things. Chad barges in just as Veronica is about to take a bath. She is aware that someone is present. She turns out all the lights and turns on the music. Veronica battles Chad and eventually shoots and kills him. Veronica returns to see her father, Hiram and tells him that Archie has survived. Veronica and Archie take a bath together in a bubble bath. Hiram destroys Veronica and Hermione’s photo.
