Riverdale Season 5 has featured a lot of twists and turns, from Betty’s search to Veronica and Archie’s breakup. when the series is to end today, a huge list of unanswered questions would have to be addressed in the finale. Is there going to be a death at the end of Season 5? In the Riverdale finale, The crew is thinking about new beginnings: Veronica is returning to New York after her breakup with Archie, Betty (Lili Reinhart) is reopening the town’s FBI office after finishing. At Betty’s graduation party, Jughead has his arm around Tabitha.
Reggie (Charles Melton) informs Veronica that he fails his stockbroker exam. He does, however, have another plan: he wants to create a casino in Riverdale with Veronica. She, on the other hand, wishes to go to New York and restart her work on Wall Street. 
When she phones her old New York contact, he tells her that, as a result of what occurred with Chad, she’s now known as the “Black Widow of Wall Street,” and that she should possibly stay away for a while. Archie and Betty joke and share a beer. Archie ( KJ Apa) informs Betty about his breakup with Veronica. Betty informs him that she would be staying in town to reopen Riverdale’s FBI office now that she is officially Special Agent Betty Cooper. He admits that he wants to give their relationship another go. She reveals that she, too, wishes to be with him.
Riverdale Season 5 Episode 19 Recap; At Betty’s graduation party, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) has his arm around Tabitha. He and Tabitha go on their first formal date and even discuss moving in together. 
Jug is now in charge of the high school’s student newspaper, and if things go well, he might be teaching again in the fall, but they’re interrupted by a phone call from Pop’s. They run there to find the diner on fire, but Archie and the firefighters realize their fire truck’s tires have been slashed as they try to aid. After the fire has been out, they all stroll through Pop’s to assess the damage, and Sheriff Keller claims that a Ghoulie hurled the molotov cocktail that caused it . a Ghoulie dispatched by Hiram, Veronica speculates. Hiram (Mark Consuelos) is eventually arrested by Betty and Sheriff Keller, but they don’t have much to hold him onto. So Betty and Archie recruit Veronica’s assistance in searching Hiram’s office for evidence.
However, Veronica believes they may need to take more extreme measures: They devise a scheme to assassinate Hiram while making it appear as if he had escaped from prison. Hiram is kidnapped from his jail cell and taken to the woods by Archie and Veronica, with his daughter demanding him to leave town after seeing a video of him killing Vito in the hospital provided by Reggie. Hiram unwillingly walks away after she advises her father to run away and never return.
In Wednesday’s Season 5 finale, Cheryl (Jones Madelaine Petsch) discovers a slew of skeletons while working for palladium in the mines. Cheryl’s ancestor, Abigail Blossom, ran a girls’ school in 1819, according to Nana Rose. When she refused to sell her maple groves to the locals in order to seek palladium, they labeled her a witch and burnt her at the stake. 
They are Archie’s, Betty’s, and Jughead’s ancestors. They were cursed by Abigail and killed in a mine collapse after she died. Cheryl bursts into Archie’s and demands a public apology, but they’re too preoccupied with saving the town to hear her out. When she is unable to obtain one, she declares Thornhill to be no longer a part of Riverdale. She then returns home and reads the curse that Abigail uttered so many years ago. And then, all of a sudden, a strong wind blasts through the creaky old house and all of the town.
In Riverdale Season 5 Finale Recap, Veronica decided to stay in Riverdale. Veronica and Reggie present the council with their proposal to open a casino, which they agree to consider after they’ve corrected all of the town’s potholes. The casino is up for business, and Veronica and Reggie locked lips; they are having a good time in the back room.

But back to those new couples Betty and Archie decided to take a chance on a meaningful relationship. This time, they’re not doing friends-with-benefits. They have a strong desire to be together! As they hook up, they hear a ticking noise of bombs Hiram placed under Archie’s bed. on their way to the bedroom. A ticking beneath Archie’s bed, though, interrupts them. They search and discover a bomb that is counting down to zero! As he drives away, Hiram exclaims, “Tick, tick, boom.”
In other final news, Kevin (Casey Cott) announced his plans to move to New York to pursue his Broadway dreams; Jughead started a new alternative newspaper with the help of his high school students; Pop volunteered to help Tabitha reopen Pop’s, and Alice even started a new romance with Frank (Ryan Robbins).
Any Character Dies In the Season 5 Finale of ‘Riverdale?
Betty and Archie are finally dating! However, them blowing up isn’t great. But I’m confident they won’t be dead, finally, they will be safe when the show returns in a little more than a month.
