Riverdale Season 612 Synopsis: THE FOG COMES TO RIVERDALE – After uncovering what Percival (guest star Chris O’Shea) has planned for the town, Archie (KJ Apa), Betty (Lili Reinhart), Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and Tabitha (Erinn Westbrook) devise a plan to oust the current town council and instate their own. But when Percival catches wind of their secret meeting, he and Alice (Mädchen Amick) use an upcoming weather event to scare the town into staying in their homes… while they carry out the next step of Percival’s master plan. Alice’s TV show is being watched by Tabitha, Jughead, and Pop. Percival Pickens is her guest; he intends to close the diner and convert it into a train station. He intends to construct a railway that will run through the town. Archie, Betty, and Toni are adamant about not assisting Tabitha in her fight against Percival. Veronica agrees to assist but advises Tabitha to sell her shop and create a new one. Jughead makes a mistake by responding to one of Tabitha’s inner monologues. Tabitha gets the idea from Jughead to declare the diner a historic site. Tabitha and Jughead rummage through old files and images in quest of proof. An armed gunman walks into the diner and begins shooting.
In 1944, Tabitha wakes up as a waitress and takes on the role of Teresa. She runs upon her guardian angel (Jughead), who informs her of the time travel. Raphael has returned and informed her that Tabitha is currently on life support. Tabitha realizes she is “Chronokinetic” after reading Raphael’s book. She possesses the ability to travel through time. Sheriff Perkins wants to turn Riverdale into a “sundown town” during the town meeting. After sundown, all black individuals would be required to leave town. The descendants of Archie, Sheriff Keller, and Alice are all present for the town meeting. Tabitha believes her purpose in being in 1944 is to prevent Sheriff Pickens from establishing the sundown town. Sheriff Pickens attempts to enter the diner without a warrant, but Tabitha and Tidus Tate refuse. Sheriff Pickens insists the pair be taken out of the diner. Tabitha persuades Raphael to impersonate Sheriff Pickens and his deputy in order to drive them nuts.
Raphael makes use of his abilities, causing Sheriff Pickens to become unpredictable. Tabitha takes Tracy and Flynn to the mayor to demonstrate how living in a sundown town would be detrimental to the community. “Teresa” is shot by Sheriff Pickens as he storms into the diner. Tabitha reawakens as “Tina” on April 3, 1968, and vows to utilize her newfound abilities to save Martin Luther King Jr. Raphael warns her that she won’t be able to help. The doppelganger of Percival Pickens works at the FBI station in Riverdale. According to Raphael, many historical events cannot be reversed since they have a global impact. As part of a new municipal rule, Agent Pickens orders everyone at the diner to go home. People at the diner want to protest and riot, but Tabitha persuades them to go about their lives peacefully. Tabitha also blackmails FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover to keep Agent Pierce quiet (the doppelganger of Percival Pickens).
Agent Pierce is fired by J. Edgar Hoover, who shuts down the mission. In the diner’s kitchen, Tabitha discovers a bomb. In 1999, Tabitha awakens as “Tessa.” Sheriff Keller apprehended a vandal who sprayed the diner with graffiti and committed a hate crime. Brian, the spraypainter, has no recollection of what happened because he was brainwashed by Percival Pickens. Brian purchased a really rare baseball card from a curious store on the outskirts of town. Paul Prince is the proprietor of the store. Tabitha enters the curiosity shop with the intention of taking photographs. At Paul Prince’s shop, finds the holy grail. Paul Prince identifies himself as “Legion” and “Darkness.” Tabitha uses swords to battle him, but he vanishes after the fight. Tabitha is sent back to her current timeline using the holy grail and a milkshake. Tabitha disarms the assailant by hurling a heavy object at his head. Tabitha reveals the truth about her time-travel abilities to Jughead. Tabitha believes Percival is the incarnation of evil. Tabitha considers the diner to be her time-traveling talisman. Tabitha went into the future and realized Riverdale had become a wasteland.
