While at the convention, Agent Drake comes clean about her desire for Betty. Betty is confronted by Veronica for doing so at a precarious moment and persuaded to have a serious conversation with Archie as a result. When TBK phones Betty at the convention, he does so in front of the audience to make her think he is there. Betty sees TBK that evening. She arrives home at Archie’s home (flashes are shown of her relationship with Archie) and sees TBK in her bedroom window. she discovers Alice and Charles bound at the kitchen table, along with the body of an FBI agent.
