Riverdale Season 6 Episode 18 Recap
Toni and Fangs plan to get married straight away. Percival assaults Riverdale with frogs, swarming flies, lice, and other pests. Veronica (Camila Mendes) starts to doubt her life after Toni asks her to organize the wedding. She used to run Wall Street, but now she lives alone in Riverdale without a lover or any friends. For the time being, and for the majority of this episode, Veronica’s only thought is that she still doesn’t have a date for this wedding. Percival convinces Archie (KJ Apa) to call off the strike as Riverdale’s water turns red. But he stands in his position. Cheryl advises that they murder Percival instead. Speaking of Cheryl, Toni makes what might be the cruelest decision she has ever made by asking her ex to officiate her wedding.
Cheryl and Heather collaborate to try to burn Percival alive while he uses his most recent magic to literally rot some food. But Nana Rose is the one who is hurt when he casts a counter spell to their onslaught. Cheryl’s day is already terrible enough without having to witness Nana Rose catch fire. But the woman somehow survives. At the rehearsal dinner, Veronica ordered a hit on her own father, which could be one of the rudest things she’s ever done. while she was still preoccupied with her personal problem, thereby making the rehearsal all about her. Betty speaks to Veronica and reminds her that she is her best friend. Fortunately, Toni got all of the cruelty out of her system earlier, so she doesn’t seem to mind. Because of her affection for her pals, it appears like Veronica has forgotten she is still in Riverdale.
The group devises a fresh strategy: have Kevin act as an insider and take Percival’s tiny black notepad. But Kevin does learn some fascinating information: Heather has an idea after Percival is given a certain stockade. Percival will become helpless if they can capture him and imprison him in the stockade. Therefore, the gang moves over to catch Percival as Archie labours on the railway by himself while lifting absurdly big timbers; all of his workers are currently covered in boils. And their strategy succeeds! By the time of the wedding, Percival is successfully in the stockade and securely locked in Veronica’s vault! Although, given that he continues to carry those beams around even after Percival is rendered helpless, someone might want to alert Archie. We now come to the wedding, where Cheryl is horrifyingly underdressed. Regardless, she marries Toni and Fangs, and everyone immediately starts dancing.
But Percival is not quite finished. He rushes over to Nana Rose to perform the last plague—the death of the firstborns after his beloved grasshoppers arrive and breach the stockade. The events begin when he murders Nana Rose while she is sleeping. Archie is the first person to pass out during the wedding. Then Toni and Fangs joined every other first-born present, with the exception of baby Anthony. They all perish. Fortunately, Heather is acquainted with Sabrina, a necromancer. Jughead is inadvertently writing about Rivervale in the bunker during this time, having his stories stolen by La Llorona, and ultimately coming face to face with himself. But before Rivervale’s Jughead can respond, the plague causes our Jughead to pass out.
