Cheryl opens the episode at the grave of her grandmother Nana Rose, who died from Percival’s plague with her five first-born children Archie, Jughead, Toni, Fangs, and Dagwood. Anthony’s alive. Dr. Curdle freezes their bodies while Cheryl and the survivors restore them. Toni is forging a peace pact with the Ghoulies, Jughead is doing comic books in a 1950s-style Pop, and Archie is married to Betty and they are blessed with a son named Fred and a daughter named Polly. Sabrina excels in death magic because she’s died before. Nick Scratch sacrificed himself to save her and is now in the Sweet Hereafter. To revive everyone, they’ll need six witches; fortunately, Betty, Veronica, and Tabitha can be quickly witchified to give them a perfect six-pack. Sabrina chooses Jughead because they can only have one resurrection at a time. Jughead doesn’t want to leave his world of hamburgers and comic books to face Percival. So she lets him stay. She asks him for a favor. Jughead is supposed to be on her arm as she makes her way back to the living world, but he isn’t. Jughead’s body is being inhabited by her boyfriend Nick.

Cheryl revived Jason and Polly while restoring Jughead’s hearing. Tabitha also tells Veronica. Kevin tried to escape Percival’s hands and meet Moose in New York, but Percival captured him and questioned him about the girls. Percival begged Reggie, the casino’s CEO, to kill Kevin, promising him Kevin’s heart for Reggie’s sick father. Reggie considers it, but after being visited by a doll he claims is his conscience, he decides to leave town with his father and Kevin. Percival’s thugs capture them and kill them all. Reggie has Percival’s magical blade as “insurance”
