The next episode of the show is going to be on sex education. The promotional video for Riverdale’s third episode of its seventh and final season was just made available by The CW. There will be plenty of surprises in store and you should get ready for anything. In the midst of Veronica hosting a makeout party, Jughead, and Ethel finds themselves in a sticky situation. After the event of a sock hop, Jughead tries to rescue Ethel from a dangerous situation, but he ends up getting himself into trouble in the process. In another part of the story, Veronica decides to have a makeout party at the Pembrooke after a session in sex education leaves the gang more perplexed than they were before. Westbrook’s Tabitha Tate shares a touching encounter with Jughead at the beginning of Season 7, setting the stage for the two to find their way back to one another in subsequent episodes. Riverdale Season 6 Episode 2 Recap
Cheryl announces that Kevin’s band will be playing at a sock hop at school. According to Toni, Fangs and his rock band may also give a show. Miss Blossom is very embarrassed by her brief flirtation with Cheryl. After realizing that he needs to learn the Twist if he wants Veronica to join him on the sock hop with him, Archie goes to his old friend Betty for instruction. Then they do a slow dance, and you can tell there’s chemistry between them. Betty and her boyfriend Kevin are parked in a perfect makeout location, but Kevin is too shy to accept her kisses. Veronica has Archie over for some deep conversation because she wants him to prove himself to her before she agrees to go to the sock hop. When he arrives, Veronica invited a large group of males to battle for her affection, including Julian, and he is forced to compete while wearing an old jacket that belonged to his dad. They get into an argument, and Archie leaves early. Alice gives Kevin an old pin of hers to present to Betty after she tells her that she is feeling ignored by Kevin and is experiencing stirrings for Archie.
After Jughead has had his memory wiped, he goes to the Pep Comics headquarters to complain that they stole a story he had submitted but they had rejected it. The editor dismisses his assertion, saying there are no unique stories and indicating a filing cabinet full of unfinished drafts. Jughead offers to try out, and Ethel Muggs expresses interest in drawing the comic. Jughead’s comic book pitch is accepted, and he recommends Ethel for the role of the artist; the two later make plans to attend the sock hop along as friends. When Cheryl learns that Toni and the Serpents have declared war on throwing rotten eggs at everyone who attends the sock hop, she tracks down Toni at the Beatnik coffee house where the group likes to hang out. Fangs’ band is taking Kevin’s place at the dance, and Toni and Cheryl are working together to sell tickets.
After the school psychiatrist discovers Ethel’s nasty comic book drawings, she is given detention. nevertheless, she and Jughead manage to escape and contact the comic book editor. But her parents are so upset that they won’t let her go to the sockhop with her friends that night. At the sock hop, Kevin and Clay exchange some more flirtatious comments, and Toni asks Cheryl to dance. Fangs’ band is playing. Archie is pulled aside by Veronica, who tells him how much she enjoyed his poem, but he would rather dance with his mother. Ronnie settles for Julian, Betty settles for Kevin. Suddenly, Ethel appears at the dance. In other words, it was your regular day at Riverdale High. Ethel waltzes into the dance drenched in blood, informing Jughead, Something terrible’s happened.
