Alice advises Betty to avoid Archie when he casts her in Hal’s dancing show. Veronica’s parents don’t like it when she hangs out with Betty, so they made her find a part-time job during the school year. After discovering a bodybuilding mag in Kevin’s room, Sheriff Keller begins to suspect him. After learning that Jughead has been writing horror comics, Principal Featherhead and Dr. Werthers approach him and warn him to dismiss him unless he writes a letter promising not to write any more of them. At Riverdale Grandstand, Julian delivers a homophobic statement to Archie about Kevin, while Veronica comes up with a plan to advertise the Babylonium.
After dancing with Betty, Troy suggests they do a striptease, but she knocks him down. Alice reproaches Betty and says she’ll ensure that nobody else dances with her on the show if she continues to act this way. Even after signing the contract, Jughead and Mr. Rayberry encourage him to keep writing. Archie tells a fib to get Kevin out of a jam. In exchange for the Babylonium, Veronica proposes to trade her picture to Mr. Lumley. After the event with Troy, Betty is committed to therapy, and the entire community gawks at her every time she walks down the corridor. At last, Mr. Rayberry’s flat is visited by the milkman late at night.
