They haven’t beaten Jones in six months in the premiere episode. Liz and Max have been living together for six months. Liz is a GED instructor, She is obtaining them prepared for Barmeggedon and a rocket-launching contest in Roswell. while Max is now acting as Temporary Sheriff. Kyle and Alex have also been assisting Eduardo at Deep Sky, while Isobel has remained working with Women as Warriors. An alien attacks a woman at a truck driver’s stop and tries to steal her sticker and truck. Michael puts off giving Dallas the keys to his trailer as he gets ready to move in with Alex. In the end, Alex gives him a key to his own house. Later, Michael breaks the model of a gazebo that Alex was making. Kyle and Liz start giving Maria her final dose of the serum, which slows down the damage to her brain. Max helps give Arturo his mom’s ring as he is getting ready to ask Liz to marry him.
Anatsa tells Isobel she loves her, but Isobel does not respond. The group has a Hatch Party at Max’s house. Michael tells Max not to propose there, and Isobel freaks out about Anatsa coming because she hasn’t told her yet that she’s an alien. Cameron, who now works for the FBI, calls Max to the incident of a bank robbery, where all the bank boxes have been emptied and it smells like rain. Max at first doesn’t want to believe that it’s aliens. Max tries to ask Liz to marry him in the town square, but he changes his mind when someone else does the same thing. Tezca, the bad alien, pours a pink liquid on the ground near an oil pump and lets the particles fly into the air. At Deep Sky, Eduardo starts talking to Kyle and Alex about the jobs he has given them and wonders why the weather patterns look like they did after the crash in 1947. He also tries to get Kyle to leave Deep Sky and do something else.
Cameron and Max both, are called to a bank robbery and end up in a car chase with the aliens. After being surrounded by a truck, the alien bank robber moves the truck out of the way and they get away. Then, the aliens bring extraterrestrial particles to Tezca. Michael and Alex make up after Michael has trouble getting used to the new place. Liz talks to Max about his proposed plan, and the two of them decide to wait and take things one day at a time. While they are hugging on the Crashdown roof, a storm rolls in and something hot crashes through the Crashdown sign. A purple sky comes with the rain. And Tezca tells the two other aliens in her group that the A lighting is arriving.
