RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS SEASON 9 FINALE: ANGERIA PARIS VANMICHEALS CROWNED WINNER

RuPaul Drag Race All Stars 9 winner

RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS Season 9 has wrapped up with a dazzling finale, crowning Angeria Paris VanMicheals as the winner. There was a historic moment in the season finale when Vice President Kamala Harris came on as a guest. The finale was also a celebration of drag artists. President Joe Biden has said that Harris should be his choice for president after 2024. Harris was the first Vice President to enter the Werk Room while she was still in office, and she used the opportunity to speak out for voting rights and LGBTQ+ equality.

Harris had a strong message about how important it is to vote and protect people’s rights and freedoms. Harris encouraged people to vote with the help of judge Michelle Visage, pop star Lance Bass, actor Cheyenne Jackson, Drag Race choreographer Jamal Sims, and actress Leslie Jones. This made the episode a mix of entertainment and political advocacy.

In a new twist for this season of ALL STARS, no queens were sent home. Angeria Paris VanMicheals, Gottmik, Jorgeous, Nina West, Plastique Tiara, Roxxxy Andrews, Shannel, and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo were among the contestants. They had to earn “benefactress badges” to make it to the finale. The season’s focus on charity gave it a meaningful twist, as each queen tried to win money for the cause they cared about.

The season’s grand prize was a $200,000 donation to the National Black Justice Coalition, paid for by The Palette Fund. Angeria Paris VanMicheals’s performances stood out. The judges were blown away by her performance in “Park and Bark” at the “Slay It Forward Variety Extravaganza,” which made her win even more certain. Kylie Sonique Love, winner of All Stars Season 6, gave her the crown, and she is now a member of the prestigious Drag Race Hall of Fame.

The competition was tough. Before the finale, Roxxxy Andrews had the most badges, and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo was right behind her. The last twist was when the double diamond was introduced. It let Nina West double her badges, but it wasn’t enough to beat the top contenders. The final lip sync to Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” was a show of skill that ended with Angeria being crowned winner.

When Angeria Paris VanMicheals thought about her win, she said she was happy and proud to represent the Black queer community and support a cause that fights for their rights. The format of the season, which focused on charity and friendship, gave the competition a unique and heartwarming twist.

Roxxxy Andrews and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, who came in second and third, each got $25,000 for their charities, the ASPCA and Miracle of Love. This season of RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS has been a celebration of hard work, kindness, and talent.
