After all, this is the title of the original miniseries’ final episode all those years ago. Don’t be surprised if Jonathan and Mira are in completely different places in their lives, yet there is still a thread of their original bond. In terms of Jonathan’s mental health, he’s firm in his decision to divorce Mira, a far cry from his desperation to save his shattered marriage at the start of the episode.

Scenes From a Marriage (2021) Episode 4 Recap
Following their attempt to repair their marriage in the last episode, we swiftly catch up with Jonathan and Mira’s circumstances. Their home is completely packed, and they are getting ready to relocate. They are not, however, relocating to London, as the last episode suggested. Instead, the couple got together to finalize their divorce and sell their home. They’ve been creating sexual tension for a while, and they’ve finally had sex on the couch in their soon-to-be-defunct home. However, things start to become bad after this clinical moment. Mira objects to a condition in the contract that forces her to pay for Ava’s high-priced dance lessons. The truths are revealed, and it’s evident that Jonathan isn’t interested in reconciliation, while Mira is hesitant to sign the documents. Mira informs Jonathan that she has lost her well-paying career and that Poli is no longer a part of her life. Jonathan explains that he is entering into a co-parenting agreement for a new baby with a surrogate mother. She slams into Jonathan in a fit of rage. Mira gradually comes to terms with the reality and signs the paperwork. At end of the episode, Mira doesn’t want Jonathan to leave, or for their last night to be so raucous. Mira locks them in and hides the key. Jonathan pushes and searching. When she pushes back, he hits her. Mira throws Jonathan, who hits his head. She hurls books. Heavily bled, Jonathan and she are no longer together. Jonathan drives away from the house.
