SEAL Team Season 5 Episode 13 Recap
Clay and Ray had faced Jason with the truth about his role in the Mali building collapse that sent Bravo to the hospital when we last tuned in. After first choosing denial, Jay came to accept the reality — and sought “enlightenment” via psychotropic cactus juice with the help of Ray and a former SEAL called Marc Lee. Following their voyage, Clay, Ray, and Jason found a new, welcome serenity. In fact, Jason elected to tell everyone on Bravo, including Davis, about his Mali blunder and overall memory troubles. Davis just took stock of who knew what when, after which Sonny had a new understanding for Clay putting his child in the NICU back home in order to monitor Jason and thus Bravo’s six.
With new information on the Venezuelans’ subterranean uranium processing complex, Jason convened a private meeting with his Bravo brothers to decide whether to abandon a mission halfway completed, continue without him, or forge ahead, BAU. While the fellas talked, Davis and Jason checked in on each other, with Lisa stating that she is still getting the stink eye from the brass for her white paper, but that Jason’s likely TBI proves that she did the right thing, emphasizing the importance of worrying about the warfighters rather than just the warfighting.
Jason was summoned by the rest of Bravo, who informed him that they needed to brief him on the perilous attack plan that he would be a part of. Bravo will penetrate the textile plant by truck, which will be used to transport the 800 pounds of explosive charges Sonny has set up to blow out eight support pillars/pancake the refining facility. Davis, on the other hand, will serve as overwatch from a van positioned on the topside. Things take a turn for the worst when Jason and Clay run into a maintenance worker, whom they bag, bind, and dump into Davis’ van. When Davis starts to launch the drone, the scared prisoner tries to leave, which creates a dilemma. After forcing him back into the van and driving away, Davis notices that the bag he was wearing to hide his head has been left behind, and it is quickly discovered by a VSP foot patrol.

After forcing him back into the van and driving away, Davis notices that the bag he was wearing to hide his head has been left behind, and it is quickly discovered by a VSP foot patrol. As a result, armed VSP interrupt Bravo’s dragging and rigging of the charges. Jason orders Clay, Brock, and Smith to lead the gunfight at the entrance ramp. Bravo now flees on foot, with the second wave of VSP pursuing them. Davis, meantime, approaches the new exfil point and discovers a massive steel door blocking their exit. Bravo outguns the VSP. But a hitch on Davis’ van rips the door off its hinges. They all rush into the van, eager to get out of Venezuela. Sadly, as soon as they declare their wish, many local police cars swarm towards them..
