SEAL Team Season 5 Episode 5 Recap
The SEALs are dispatched on a train to find Boukare. As they work their way through the carriage, disguised as civilians, it’s a tense assignment. Sonny is on the roof, attempting to reach the front and offer assistance. Because they don’t want Mandy to get wounded, Jason informs them that the mission will be a pistol mission. Everyone is taken aback, but the plan must go forward. The train is littered with HVTs, making it difficult for everyone on board to reach safety. They fight back after one of the men starts the fire. Boukare and his companions disembark off the train. Sonny experiences a heroic moment that earns him respect.
Dryden accuses Jason of operational malpractice back at the base, and the two men come to blows in a spectacular manner, setting in motion a dramatic turn of events. Because of their ties to Mandy, Bravo is withdrawn from the mission. When Davis examines Dryden’s computer, he discovers that Mandy’s data have been redacted. She provides Jason a tiny router so she may gather as much information as possible from anyone who could have Mandy. Jason begs Dryden to accompany him on the expedition as a supporter, and he accepts. As they get deeper into the city, the firing dies down, and people start spraying gasoline on the automobiles from above.
