Wood received Best Female Comedy Performance for the second season at the BAFTA Television Awards. It should come as no surprise that Netflix will be looking forward to the third season of one of their most popular series to date. What can we expect from Sex Education’s third season?
We learned a lot about Otis and the other colorful Moordale Secondary School characters, and they learned a lot about themselves as well. There are still a lot of questions that the third season of Sex Education will have to answer. Isaac clearly has affections for Maeve, and will likely hinder Otis’ pursuit of Maeve in season 3. It’s doubtful Otis will continue to counsel his peers, especially if Jean returns as a sex education counselor or instructor. With a new principal, Adam may be able to return to Mooredale Secondary. Maybe Eric and Adam can decide jointly what they want to do in the future.
Ola has given Lily the confidence she needs to overcome her vaginismus and enjoy the benefits. Lily may wish to explore a new realm of pleasure. Although numerous relationships have been covered in Sex Education, polygamy has yet to be depicted. Lily would be the most receptive to polygamy, but it would depend on Ola’s willingness to participate. Jean felt she was going through menopause until she found out she was pregnant!
Jean’s plans are unknown, but Otis may be a big brother in nine months. Not to mention, even if Otis and Ola aren’t blooded relatives, the baby is. Jackson’s parents may still push him to keep swimming, but some leniency may allow him to explore acting as a sideline or discover a backup plan. Sadly, Mr. Groff is only on administrative leave and has not been dismissed. He will have to learn to work with Jean if she returns to school as a teacher or counselor.
