‘Shining Girls’ Episode 4 Recap
In episode 4 Kirby finds her assailant had been keeping a close eye on her for much longer than she had realized. She recalls spending the night with her mother at a music venue where her attacker (Jamie Bell) scribbled the words of a song she liked on the wall. Meanwhile, Kirby’s assailant, a man who has been killing women for decades, is on the lookout for her. He returns to her previous residence. But Kirby, who he knows as Sharon after being attacked, she changed her name, isn’t there. Dan rushes to publish the story. Also, the Chicago Sun-Times crew is working to get the story out. Dan finally connects with the women after a few fruitless interviews. He and Kirby return to the office and pore over images of the stuff left inside the victims.
