Sam learns from Mindy that today is Saint Patrick’s Day, the world’s largest drinking holiday. When Sam phones Olivia, Olivia expresses concern about Sam’s isolation today. She invites Sam to join Stephanie on the road trip and tells her she can phone her at any time. Stephanie was enraged by both notions. Sam pays Felicia a visit at work in the hopes of baking cookies with her, Felicia, and Zack. Felicia, on the other hand, has plans to celebrate with some coworkers. Sam is desperate and has even asked Bob and her mother to hang out with her, but they have their other plans. Sam appears to be quite lonely. She begins to bake cookies but instead discovers refrigerated dough. Sam tries to meditate but finds it difficult to relax, especially after witnessing Felicia having a good time without her.
Brit is then seen having a good time picking for bridal gowns. Sam yells after sending her an SMS. Brit isn’t having the best of luck. None of the clothes appeal to her. Brit looked like a slut in one of the outfits, according to the store owner, who wants them removed so she can drink. Brit responds with a text to Sam, stating that she requires assistance. James misplaced his keys. Mindy joins him in a bar to get a set from his roommates. She claims she approaches being sober as if it were a video game with goals. Sam’s presence has shocked Brit’s friends. Sam takes command, stating that they need to see more gowns in order to find something Brit will enjoy. She turns down the champagne. Brit is still unhappy, so Sam reminds her that she can wear whatever she wants. She offers to assist her in her search at a later date. When James and Mindy discover James’ roommates, they pretend to be dating. The keys won’t be released unless the housemates defeat them at beer pong. Over coffee in the diner, James, Mindy, and Sam swap stories.
