“Summer School: Chapter Twelve,” is the season’s penultimate episode. The second season finale of DC’s Stargirl is only one episode away. then again as season 3 approaches. The only thing that is right now is that Joel McHale will play Starman in that phase of the story. In Stargirl, the Justice Society of America is gearing up for a clash with Eclipso. In the previous episode, the Shade rescued Courtney, Cindy, and the original Doctor Mid-Nite, Charles McNider, from the Shadowlands. So the JSA will now have two more persons on their side. the storyline and promo reveal that the JSA will seek outside assistance in defeating Eclipso. Cindy clearly wants to exact her vengeance on the villain, thus despite their differences, she will assist the JSA. And, maybe, Pat will be able to get Rick out of jail, and Yolanda will reconsider her decision to leave the team. A terrifying incident on Stargirl Season 2 Episode 11 put the superhero on the verge of death. Courtney wakes up in the Shadowlands, where she feels at ease. But not at home. Everything is black and white, and everyone she meets is Stopford-friendly. As she enters, she discovers Joey performing magic for his parents. Joey steps up and asks her to pick a card. When he first requested her to do this, she lied, stating he chose her card. A furious Shadowland Joey sprints out the door, only to be transported to the high school by a blaze of light. A familiar person strikes her but quits when Courtney’s arm bleeds. “No one bleeds here,” Cynthia says this as she introduces the Shadowlands to Courtney in her childhood chamber. Jennie walks in and they have a heart to heart before Beth hears Dr. McNider’s voice. The two of them are still alive! Jennie uses the Green Lantern ring to track down The Shade and save the two. But seriously, bad kids are creepy.
Every time Courtney passes a doorway, she is shown someone’s life that Eclipso claims she damaged. She loses Dr. McNider and stumbles across the frightening Eclipso youngster asking if she wants to play a game called “Whose life did you ruin?” Yolanda, Rick, her mom, and her dad. “I detest you,” Courtney tells the frightening Eclipso child. The frightening Eclipso youngster smiles. Pat and Barbara find The Shade in a cinema theatre viewing an old black and white picture and asking him to help them save Courtney. Shade is astounded to learn Dr. McNider is still alive. Shade, unable to stand due to lack of power, utilizes the cinema screen to construct a world doorway. Courtney, Dr. McNider, and Cindy return home at the end of the episode. But it wasn’t free. The Shade dies and vanishes after using all his energy. Cindy says she’s going to kill Eclipso.
