Luisa Berrol, Andy’s attorney, gives her some good news (Jennifer Jalene). Andy’s coworkers were allowed to testify in her case by the union reps. During the trip, Jack also informs Andy that he is the sperm donor for Maya’s (Danielle Savre) and Carina’s (Stefania Spampinato) kid. Andy also acknowledges that she is concerned that the assault on Jeremy was her responsibility because she chose the wrong individuals. Andy is told by Jack that nothing she did was her fault.

Joshua greets Jack and Andy at the door. After an awkward greeting, Jack’s brother reveals that he works in the financial industry. Josh talks about his two kids and upcoming baby. He also informs Jack about his childhood home and baseball. It surprises Jack that Josh grew up with their parents and wasn’t fostered. Josh says their mother became pregnant as a teen and had to give him up. When Jack’s mother had children, she didn’t want to uproot Jack from his family. Jack laments because his parents didn’t want him and explain the foster system’s predators. Finding Jeremy’s additional victims is vital to Andy’s manslaughter case.

Ben tells Vic and Theo that they will sign the baby Pru papers tomorrow. The Baileys (Chandra Wilson) will adopt Pru. Maya and Carina debate telling their friends that Jack is their sperm donor. Carina also learns that her Green Card test is approaching. Michael is disliked by both Natasha (Merle Dandridge) and Sean Beckett (Josh Randall). Vic and Theo are dispatched to a domestic incident involving the teen’s father, Brian (Ben Bode), and mother, Jane (Romy Rosemont). The mother reveals that their teen was taken by her ex-husband, Brian, who she has recently located. Jane refers to the teen as Mary, he informs his mother that his name is Matt, not Mary. Matt goes on to say that his mother has never understood him. If he stays with his mother, he may never receive gender-affirming care. Brian is given full custody by the social worker (Ritesh Rajan), but Jane and her boyfriend take Matt and toss him in their truck. Troopers detain and arrest the truck driver Theo advises the youngster and his father to relocate and change their phone number. He recalls a school friend, Angel. His parents found him making out with a boy and refused to accept him.

Meanwhile, it’s clinic day. Earl, a firefighter, arrives at the station hobbling and explaining that his feet are becoming worse. he couldn’t afford to see a doctor because he didn’t have health insurance. They arrange for an ambulance to take him to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital and assure him that he will not be charged. The team advises Travis to run for Seattle mayor to challenge Dixon and implement needed changes. Ben later questions the bond between Sullivan and Ross. Sullivan tries to converse with Ross while Ross shoots images of the facility, but she seems frigid. Carina senses Ross’ icy shoulder and asks Sullivan if he’s planning something with Maya. In their bedroom afterward, Sullivan tells Ross that people wonder about their relationship.
